The replacement to the LC100 series will be coming out in a year or two. Though I'm not sure if it will signal the end for the 100 series.
Remember that the 70 series is still in production as well as the 80 series (in Ecuador, etc.). Up until recently, you could've bought a brand-spanking new 40 series in Brazil.

I guess he meant a common rail direct injection fuel system (which may not have any relation to other CRDi engines in the Toyota line up).

off topic, yung china nga, are producing na locally lc100s, geb2 pajeros and nissan safaris. the japs sold it na sa china. hehehe. i hope makakuha tayo rito ng mga yan. reliable 4x4s at china prices.
tingin ko wala pa d4d na land cruiser lalabas. yung 4.2 parin gamit nila. before yung 12valve, now its the 24v 4.2. maybe they'll up the displacement again.

I was hoping toyota would come out with common rail for the landcruiser.
Imagine at 4.2L diesel that is common rail.
Choice I would have made as well.
