Corolla Headlights

good day!

i was just wondering kung mayroon po bang nabibili na aftermarket headlight assembly ng corolla lovelife? yung sa avatar ko yun po yung car (headlight lang po, di kasama yung sa gilid). not only its dirty and full of scratches outside, pati inside madumi na rin. naninilaw na rin yung lens sa kalumaan kaya gusto na rin po sana namin palitan. medyo matagal na rin po kasi kami naghahanap; we even considered buying the whole assembly kaso 5k ang alok sa amin dito sa bulacan. di po ba masyadong mahal yung price?

anyway, baka may alam po kayong makukuhanan ng headlight assembly na reasonably priced... kahit 2nd hand basta clear pa yung lens and walang damage... kindly inform me po...

Madadaan pa yan sa headlight cleaning and it will save you a lot of money rather than buy a new one. Just go easy on the reflectors. Whatever you do, do not attempt to use acetone or alcohol. Either one of these two will damage the plastic.

pare we have the same car... kya lng LE ung akin.. pre nag install ako ng narva harness wire.. kasi naka white bulbs ako.. naka harness karin ba? if oo me problema karin pag naka high?

actually bro LE din sa akin. wala pa akong modifications na ginagawa sa lights/wiring since korny magiging dating ang dumi kasi ng lens.

anyway baka meron po diyan may extra pair of brand new/a1 condition headlight lenses/assembly kindly PM me. thanks!

i think kahit brandnew pa ipalit mo mabilis din iitim yun. ganun din yung akin. nung bago pa sya ang bilis din mangitim, almost all lovelife ganun. siguro di talaga maganda design nung cover.. palinis mo lang.. tsaka wag ka babad sa highbeam.,, sad to say pero wala na remedyo dun unless pa smoke na para di halata dumi

Pre - saan kayo palinis ng headlights? tried it myself... hirap....

I drive the same car. So far I haven't seen an aftermarket headlight assembly for this car. So that means if your headlight is dirty, its either you have it cleaned or purchase a new assembly.

I haven't had it cleaned yet because the "foil" might actually peel off if they would just pour water/soap solution inside and I would probably end up buying a new pair.

I have 2K Corolla din. In my case, ipinalinis ko last January2008 ung lens, it was in Kapalangan in pampanga. They used some sort of a mineral oil for cleaning. It was quite clean after linisin,almost as good as new. It cost me around P600 for both lenses.They also do this procedure in Banawe. The problem is malabo na naman ngayon, considering ilang months pa lang. I guess kailangan na dn palitan ng bagong assembly. I think around 1K each sa may libertad.Pero they told me na lalabo dn un eventually.... Too bad!! Plastic daw kasi....
