Do the findings in AU reflect what's happening locally? Fortuner, Hilux, and Prado impacted in AU. Locally, the Innova is also powered by the same 2.8L engine.

On a positive note, it is good this happened before the DPFs becomes standard in our country. A dpf is very expensive to replace & it gets F’ed quite frequently if not properly maintained. Imagine a Smug company like Toyota peddling cars w/ faulty filters that won’t be covered by the warranty.

August 5th, 2019 07:27 PM #5Stop and go traffic kills DPFs. Not enough hot exhaust gas to do a clean burn of the DPF causes the clogging. DPF is required to meet Euro V emissions. If we ever reach Euro V, bye bye diesel for city driving.

August 6th, 2019 11:52 AM #10haaay buhay. The fruits of my labor. Lagpas isang dekada ko pinaglaban na bulok ang desel and now reaping my angas. Kahit anong particulate pa gamitin nyo eh sumuko na si europe germany.
Thats how you do it. Tanggapin nyo na. Wag na pilitin. Tinaas na ang banderang kapos.
Dami pa test ginagamit eh ilong ko lang naman katapat.
