May 26th, 2011 11:40 AM #1Car is Toyota Vios 2006 1.3J M/T.
I'm just wondering kung saan nanggagaling yung amoy everytime I reach 140 kph pero as soon as I slow down to maybe 110 to 120 kph, nawawala naman yung amoy.
Tires? Break pads? Clutch? Something in the engine?
Need your opinions po.
Thanks.

Happens on my AT too so it ain't the clutch. My money's on the belts.
And it happens on other cars so we aren't alone

could it be the wheel bearings? if more than 2years na re-pack or re grease the wheel bearings... yung office mate ko pag tumatagal daw she smells burning rubber, wheel bearings pala at sunog na ang grasa.

Repacking wheel bearings and replacing grease seals on 2WD is pretty easy. 4WD is more work, with hubs to disassemble etc. Every 2 years or 30,000kms ang repack. Mas madalas if laging inaabot ng baha or nag-oo-offroad kasi. So I guess major job siya.
Malas yung sealed bearings, palit talaga.
