Guys, need some help or advice

Left front brake is not working, I overhauled the calipers thinking it was just stuck. But when I tried to bleed the brakes, the caliper piston still did not move. We removed the brake line from the caliper and tried to pump the brakes, no or very little fluid came out. We traced the lines from the master cylinder to a device that looks like this located under the windshield washer reservoir:

The pic came from the web. I'll get hold of a camera and take an actual pic of the part and its location and post it here as soon as I can.

One of the lines is not squirting out fluid when the brake pedal is pumped, I asked the mechanic what that part does and he said he is not perfectly sure.

Have you encountered this trouble? Where did you get it fixed? replaced? How much was the cost? Ideas?

    TIA

Agree ako dyan paps hehehe, at threadstarter, you can call Toyota Celica or Toyorama, give them the part number para mabigyan ka ng presyo kung magkano. If meron nyan sa Toyorama, chances are mas mura sa kanila.

Sa pagkakaalam ko, pero not very sure, kapag nakahinto ang sasakyan, automatic open ang lahat ng valve ng ABS, napansin ko kasi kapag nagpreno ka bigla na tumatakbo, mababaw lang ang apak sa brakes, then parang biglang lulubog ng kaunti later on kapag full stop ka na, so chances are indication yun na nag open na ang valves at freeflowing na ang brake fluids.

Malay mo yung brake line lang may poblema not the ABS mismo hehehe..

So, somewhere inside this thing merong blockage preventing one of the outlets from squirting fluid out? I see it has electricals plugged into it. Any chance that it has something to do with an electrical problem or is the problem purely mechanical??

    TIA

Any suggestions as to where I can find a trusted mechanic/specialist to have this car's brakes inspected and diagnosed? TIA

Caliper piston does not move. I overhauled the caliper to make sure it is not stuck up. tried to bleed the brakes but no fluid comes out. Traced the lines to the master. Brake master is good up to the point to that device pictured above where the second fitting from the right does not squirt fluid when the brake pedal is pumped.

Abs yan, try mo bleeding by totally removinig the bleed screw. Baka barado na sa kalawang yan. Try mo din bleed from the other wheel kung may lalabas. Try removing the abs relay, see if it would have any effect.

Di ba umilaw abs warning light mo?

Done bleeding with the bleed screw completely removed, it only has a weak trickle.

Tried bleeding the other three wheels, no problems, and they work with no problem. traced the tubes from the caliper up to this box and from the brake master to this box. no blockages. It is only here that the brake fluid do not squirt out of one of the "outputs". It does on the other three.

No, the only time the abs warning lights up is when I turn the ignition key on. When the engine starts up, the warning light goes off.
