Bawal na gawin taxi ang vios?

Baka yung new Vios na ang bawal gawing taxi, the one with the new front fascia and taillights. Yung lumang Vios, madami na akong nakikitang taxi, pero not with the new 2008 Vios.

Sabi pa po ng dealer, kapag nahuli ng toyota na ginawang taxi ang vios, babawiin daw po ang sasakyan at babayaran na lang kayo ng 50% ng original price ng car at pagbabawalan na rin kumuha ng franchise.

Bobo yung dealer. Subukan niyang gawin yun, and he'll be facing a lawsuit. He can't legally do that, unjust enrichment yan, and it really bothers me na may mga taong bobo na, sakim pa. Gusto pang manakot ng mokong ah!

Kahit 2008 model na Vios pwede gawing taxi. Madami na ako nakikita sa daan.

We are currently renting a car for the company.... 2008 Vios ito....

IMO, hindi malayong gawing taxi rin ang mga ito.....

Ang alam ko lang so far na may ganyan na bulok na policy ay yung Honda!

They want their vehicles to remain "exclusive" so when you purchase a vehicle they'll inform you and let you sign a contract na di mo gagawin PUV yung sasakyan nila.

Yung bagong Vios I've seen a lot of them on the roads now, pati yung mga squad cars ng pulis new Vios rin ang gamit. Hehe, madamot kasi yung Honda, ayaw ata nila mamigay ng City.

dami ng vios taxi a. lagot yun mga malaking fleet ie r&e, sturdy etc. dami na nilang vios unit.

Bawal? Why? Says who? Tama sinabi ni Shadow. He bought a car and can practically do ANYTHING he wants with it. Why? Because it's his and paid for it!

Anyway, to the TS, since you already have a franchise, go ahead and buy the Vios, if you really like to use it as a taxi. Nobody can stop you from making the car a taxi because it's yours. I'm not aware of any law that prescribes that (unless Honda or Toyota has a seat in Congress). If the dealer threatens you with voiding the warranty, go take your business somewhere else.

IMO, cars that are being made into taxis are testament that the car is reliable and parts are plentiful. Like the Toyota Corolla AE101 and AE111 and Nissan Sentra (current). Though I really like the Sentra to be a taxi because it looks classy (even for the base model) and does not look "cheap" at all.

Exclusive daw kse feeling Mercedes ang Honda dito sa Pinas!

Palibhasa, Honda feels their cars wouldn't last as long as Toyotas if made into taxicabs!

I ain't a Honda fanboi, though we own Hondas. Still, I don't like Hondas (cars, not bikes!

).
