Avanza J, Avanza G.... where's Avanza E???

Hello mga Tsikoteers,

curious lang po ako. di ba po ang usual variant naming convention ng mga new toyota car models has the lower variant J, the middle E, the upper G, and the stratospheric V. i can understand why there's no V here. but what about the E which would (should) close the gap between the J and G? Salamat po sa mga magpopost dito. hehe.

dito po sa atin sa PINAS ang lumabas lang ay J & G variant....di ko lang din alam kung bakit......sa INDONESIA kasi merong S model at sa MALAYSIA merong E... see attached pics.

Sana nga may E variant gaya ng sa Vios & Innova na power windows na + upgraded ang sidings. Marami sa naka J gustong mapa-power windows kaya lang tila wala pang available.

Perfect sana sa needs ko kung may E variant. Gusto ko power windows at better interior than J, pero out of my budget na yung G. Kaya ngayon Honda City na lang ang iniisip ko hehe.

looks quite nice. tnx po. hmmm. parang bitin tuloy ung line-up ng avanza dito. considering ung price disparity (last time i checked):

avanza J 1.3 m/t= P592,000
avanza G 1.5 m/t= P778,000

P186,000 price difference.

cguro kung may avanza E ung price nito would be around P650,000 or less.

ung ilang features kasi ng avanza J like the side mirrors (i think its hard to adjust the right side mirror's position when alone because you have to open the window, lean towards it, then move it), vinyl mouldings and seats, etc. emphasizes more its utilitarian function (taxi, business use). but what if you want a better featured avanza (e.g. fabric seats, mouldings) still with a 1.3L engine without having to customize it yourself? an avanza E should fill the missing link.

Dapat talaga may E model, kaso di nag release ang Toyota.

Mga J owners tulad ko are upgrading our units. Jokingly, we call our units as "E".

wow. sana may nakakabit na rin po na "E" badge sa likod in place of "J". hehe.

IMO, yung "j" variant is for their taxi lines... sabi kasi ng toyota eto na daw yung papalit sa mga taxi versions. siguro kaya walang "e" kasi they expect na "g" na kukunin ng tao kung for everyday family use na ayaw ng innova because of the price tag.

just my 2 cents...

Yung G Avanza kasi alanganin yung price mas mahal pa sa J na Innova so mga private users medyo torn whether to get the bigger car but less features or the smaller car with more features.

Same lang ba ang decal ng sa Avanza at Innova?

Any way, I have asked marfin if this decal is available. :D I also asked him is a decal for the 1.3 is available. BTW, the G Avanza has a 1.5 decal.

Mayroon kasi akong plan na maglagay ng 1.3 na decal at palitan ang decal ng "J" with "E". So sa malayo, at di masyadong mabasa, misleading :D

Avanza J for taxi has no 3rd row, and they only come in white. Noong unang lumabas ang mga J, walang white. nagka issue kasi na may 3rd row ang avanza. To big for Taxi (number of passengers, 5 lang dapat pag taxi - including driver) but too small for Mega taxi (11 seaters - including driver).

Mayroon nakabili ng mga white avanza for the price of a 5-seater. naging free ang 3rd row seats. :D

Ganoon talaga ang pricing scheme. Yoe will get torn between choosing a higher variant "lower model" or a lower variant but "higher model".

re: vinyl mouldings sa J.. pwede na nga i upgrade ito.. si Shadow nga mag u upgrade na.. so let's wait kung ano kalabasan.. kasama na rin yata power windows dito..

nasa 4th eb thread ata yung pics ng vinyl inner mouldings ni shadow. magkano kaya pagawa nya doon? hmmm...(burn mode) :P

inde yun.. kay Jaspi yun.. sa seatmate nya pinagawa yun.. 2,500 yata.. or 3,500..

yung kay shadow.. umorder sya kay marfin nang inner mouldings nang Avanza G.. 4 panels.. ikakabit nya.. so magiging G na itsura nun pag nakabit..

leatherette (or german leather) ang gamit sa avanza ni jaspii. seatmate, parang 3.5K nga yata.

Ang mahal siguro dun sa trims, yung mga plastics (switches, arm rests, etc.) kasi according to shadow, tig-1500 per trim (3rd row) lang ang nabanggit na price ni Marfin sa kanya: http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showp...postcount=9259
