Ano ba na naman eto???Toyota Fortuner's had brake problem in Thailand.

I came from Isuzu Autoparts last year... They were showed a video of the Fortuner brake issue with this thai guy who smashed his unit... But, they showed just one case.

The question is... Was this just a lemon or a start of a trend? No brake related problems reported locally, for now... Buti na lang may Tsikot.com. Para malaman natin for sure if there's a developing trend (like in the 2.5 D4D problems).

A Thai friend of mine told me that there is a problem with the Fortuner's brakes in Thailand and is not only 1 lemon case. There were others.

So far no problems with my brakes pero I wish it had more power (efficiency). Medyo malayo ang braking distance specially pag galing sa higher speeds.

IMO, it's not a lemon case but maybe a design flaw. Yeah ,isang case lang pinakita nila kasi sya lang ang may guts to do it to his Fortuner just to show na may brake problems talaga since baka napuno na sa ka di deny ng Toyota. Parang na mention yata na pabalik-balik kasi siya. I'm sure if we can just read their postings sa thai website na yon, we might discover more cases of this brake problems. The thai Fortuner owner who posted this brake problems sa Tsikot.com even submitted the brake Test result sa Fortuner di ba. If Toyota will claim that it's not true, they can prove it by putting the Fortuner to an actual brake test infront din ng media at car experts to put an end to this issue. Kaya lang tahimik ang Toyota kasi takot din sila kasi pag nag fail ang Fortuner sa brake test, massive losses yon sa kanila dahil they might be forced to issue a recall. I wonder if papasa ang Fortuner sa US testing.

medyo mahina nga brakes ng fortuner pero i have no problems with it. I have adjusted to it and just drive my car at a safe distance with other car in front of me. Pero ganon din naman experience ko with my safari.

siguro kung mag file lang tayo lahat ng reklamo siguro matataranta yung toyota. why not!!! try kaya natin magpadala ng apeal sa goverment.

Probably, kasi Fortuner lang ang SUV na nakita ko na Disc/Drum ang brake set-up. Sa taas at bigat nya, mahihirapan talaga sya lalong lalo na pag maraming nakasakay. Wala eh, tinipid ng Toyota para daw affordable tapos benta ng mga mapagsamantalang dealer ng pagkamahal-mahal. Tapos yong iba, nagpapalit pa ng naglalakihang rim. Eh hirap na nga yong brakes nya to handle 16" rim, what more kung bigger rim pa ang ikakabit. Ilan na lang kaya ang matitira sa 45% braking efficiency nya based doon sa brake test report

Tapos yong iba, nagpapalit pa ng naglalakihang rim. Eh hirap na nga yong brakes nya to handle 16" rim, what more kung bigger rim pa ang ikakabit. Ilan na lang kaya ang matitira sa 45% braking efficiency nya based doon sa brake test report

will the bigger rims setup messup the braking capability of the fortuner?
