It started last year when a relatively wealthy Thai smashed her CRV with a baseball bat (if I remember correctly) after repeated attempts to have Honda replace her car. I can't remember exactly what the complain was all about. To cut the story short she got what she wanted. Although she opted for a cash settlement instead.

Engine problems and now brake problems? It seems Toyota has scored a double whammy sa IMV project nila ano? Major and critical defects pa kung ko consider.
Well, I have worked in Thailand before for almost 4 years and I know that if a thai guy really get pissed, they are inclined to do drastic things. The smashing of a thai Fortuner owner of his windshield in anger is just a simple reaction. Some will even go to the extent of killing somebody as I've witnessed in my former company. Mabuti mabilis tumakbo yong kasama ko na "puti" dahil kung naabutan sya, totodasin talaga sya ng kasama naming thai. Mabuti na awat ng plant manager. Tanggal sila pareho.
Para sa akin, tama lang ang ginawa ng thai Fortuner owner to force Toyota to act kasi bingi ang mga Taga Toyota kaya sa action nya ginawa. Sabi nga : "Action speaks louder than words" he...he ..he. Kita mo sa pina bingi din ang Toyota. Ganyan din yata hintay ng Toyota sa pinas na scenario, smashing of their pinagmamalaking IMV vehicles with the presence of media. Tsik...tsik.. lakas ng thai Fortuner owner na yon, sya lang mag-isa.
