Altis 04-07 J & E model differences

Just take note that the possible "sakit" of the Altis 2001 - 2007 is engine sludge build-up. This happens to units that do not have their oil changed regularly (every 5,000kms), even if they use synthetic oil. When searching, look for a unit whose owner can provide records that he regularly services the cars. We have a 2007 Altis J with almost 120,000kms on the odo and with the regular oil change, it's running with no problems.

+100 here. my bayaw car binaba ang makina ng kanyang 2006 altis * 60k low mileage lang nung oct 2015

Easiest way is to open up the valve cover or do a inspection through the oil cap.

A compression test also helps check overall health of your engine.
