Same comment as my brother told me (i'll still check it out this weekend). It's bare on the outside but the inside is okay enough. One thing going against it is... the Navarra at less than 1M with more to offer.

One thing bad about getting the E variant, is that if you have ambitions of turning into a G variant look alike somewhere down the road it would be a bit difficult, if not expensive.

1. The absence of fender flares from the original design or factory means that the E variant front fenders are the narrow type that need to be replaced with the wider type of G variant. Unless, you don't mind bolting on extra wide fender flares like those Ford Ranger Raptor lookalikes.

2. The pickup bed fenders are also narrow type. So same problem as #1.

Seems like Toyota is convincing buyers to go upmarket. But the above mentioned is not an earth shattering dilemma since most buyers of E variants will be from the fleet market.

If you're on a budget and don't want to go full synthetic, Caltex Delo 400, 15W-40 is good.

may problema talaga pang ilalim ng 4x4 variant. malakas "takatak"sound pag nalubak sa rought road lalo na pag naka neutral position ang gear at speed below 5kms/hour. hope toyota can fix the problem asap. its not a major problem naman but its brandnew so dapat flawless.

you will not regret kung hilux pa rin choice mo as compared to the other brands. i tried ranger 2015 model xl 4x4. ang naging problema, ayaw mag engage 4x4. kung minsan naman ayaw mag dis engage. 4 months old pa lang, broken na yong velocity axle. sa dmax naman, nag low power. ilang beses na bumalik sa casa hindi pa makita problema. kaya benenta na lang din. strada is good but i just dont like the new design. usok lang talaga problema sa 4D56 lalo na dito sa baguio. sabi nila sa mitsubishi casa, marumi daw kasi diesel natin kaya mausok. sabi ko naman, pareho namang gasoline station pinagkakargahan ng toyota and mitsubishi. bakit yong toyota hindi naman mausok.

may mga issue din toyota but based on my experience using different brands, i still prefer toyota. at the end of the day, kanya kanyang choice yan. my preference might not be the preference of the others. the point is, we share our insight and opinion for others to decide what they really want.
