July 28th, 2018 11:31 PM #1212Mga Sirs... may inorder akong E variant 4x2 dito sa Davao last April then until now wala pa daw available unit from Thailand. Unfortunately, naabutan na lang ako ng price adjustment (from 995k to 1.015M).
May info ba dito na maglalabas na ng Hilux 2019 facelift in all variants (E to G)? Sa nakikita ko kasi sa YouTube, nakafacelift or minor change na lahat ng Revo sa Thailand other than Rocco at may AC vent na sa likod ng center armrest. Kung totoo man, better to cancel my order then hintayin ko na lang yong facelift na. Hope to here from your comment Sirs. Salamat.

July 30th, 2018 09:57 PM #1213On the contrary, we've been using our roll up since 2008. Problema lang is yung handle outside, the thin tubings inside is always dislocated, thus you sometimes have to force open the lock. Other than that, its fine, aside from frequent greasing of tracks.
There are some things you can't do or put in a top up like cover. But if you're after the looks and seldomly using the bed, the single cover fits the bill
I think it boils down to the usage of the bed.

July 30th, 2018 10:13 PM #1214^^^ didn’t even consider the top-up cover, when I’m looking for a cover. Parang you’re turn your pickup truck into a sedan na may bigger trunk space.
I really need every cargo space available, so out yun roller lid and I even went initially with a soft tonneau cover. No problem with it but didn’t feel safe, bka may magslash pero wala naman nagtry. Later on change it with Bakflip trifold, yun ok na. Mas may peace of mind na.

Thanks for all the recommendations guys.
Ruled out the roll cover. The one-piece limits the cargo's height. Soft roll cover is a small possibility but am not sold completely. I think I will go with the trifold. Some brands allow you to take it out for really big cargo. I have to have the flexibility to use the bed for big motorcycles if ever.

September 1st, 2018 10:55 PM #1220Hi,
Planning to get a bumper for my Hilux E. Dun pa din ako sa orig na design. Just a question, may issues ba dun sa Taiwan steel bumpers vs the original Toyota Hilux steel bumpers? Ang laki ng price difference din eh.
