    Just saw the new Hilux in the flesh. Typical Toyota - not too radical, but looks modern enough to last for the next 10 years. It's like the old one got more curves, more cuts, and a much better interior.

    I saw one on display at TOYOTA MAKATI SHOW ROOM. It looks better in the metal than in pics.

    How big is it compared to the outgoing model? Same size ba halos? Compared to the current ranger? Thanks

    Yup. The old Hilux was actually as tall and long as the Ranger, just not as wide. This new one adds some bulk and width, giving it the same presence as the Ranger.

    Personally though, I don't see why it should cost 200k more than the Navara. The Navara EL Calibre and Ranger XLT are still the best value for money in the segment IMO.

    Agree navara is the most sulit. Ever since nissan has been handled by nissan mismo its all been good moves.
