Wow... no offense, sure ka ba talaga sa FC mo? kasi sobra tipid sir j. Kasi ako best FC is around 15km/L sa 1.3 A/T, yun nga lang alalay ako sa accelerator di ko pinapalagpas ng 2500 rpm, more on 1800rpm mark.

On Monday try ko naman C5-Tagaytay, same route. Then after Xmas try ko yung two way.

Full tank method fill up to brim ang gasolina tapos close lid cap,shake the car a few times,open the lid cap if don't see the gasoline on the brim fill it up again repeat the process.Pagshake mo at pag bukas ng lid nasa brim pa rin ang gasoline full tank na talaga Ito wala na air trap sa loob ng tank.repeat ang process sa susunod na full tank para makuha mo ang all most accurate FC.

I don't suggest filling it to the brim. Aside from the risk of spilling the gasoline on your paint (stripping away any wax and protection) the gas in your tank expands when hot and when it's full it has nowhere to go. Auto stop lang.

Good afternoon fellow Vios owners!! Finally got mine 2 weeks ago..got a Metallic dark grey 1.5 M..

It's current odo is 207km.. still observed ko pa everything about the car….

Guys, ask ko lang kase many times I've encountered na namamatayan ako ng makina usually on an uphill ascent in a traffic situation sa mga flyovers or kya sa parking ramps in some malls..somehow it makes me feel like a newbie driber all over again..
but before I used to drive an older "96 corolla and "currently" dinadala ko din paminsan minsan yung L300 ng tito ko..at kinargahan pa namin yun ng 10 sacks of rice for relief donations by me and group of friends at may extra 4 persons pa in tow..pero di ko naman naeexperience mamamtayan sa paahon kahit pa sa traffic..

I don't know what's causing the engine na mamatayan, though I may say na baka naninibago lang ako sa timplahan ko ng clutch and accelerator pedals sa new gen vios ko..but then again bakit di ko naman naeexperience ito sa previous na sasakyang na drive ko before at sa L300 na minsanan kog nagagamit? any idea if kailangan ko ipacheck ulit sa dealer? nag ask na kase ako sa isang ahente na nasaktuhan ko sa mall, and they said na baka overloaded ako..eh it's just 5 persons plus a baby car seat and stroller at the trunk ang load ko..besides sa L300 nga mas mabigat ang dala ko but never ko na encounter na mamatayan..

Overall I'm still satisfied sa performance nya ang gaan lang ng tapak ko sa accelerator ramdam ko n power nya compared sa L300 & older corolla ko before..It's just bothering yung situation kase medyo delikado lalo na pag tinututukan ako sa likod and considering i have my family inside of it.. I hope you can share your thoughts or opinions..it will be really helpful..btw dami ko din natututunan sa thread na ito and others as well..

Try to test drive the same model from a friend. Verify if you still encounter the same problem. If not, then it's your car.

If you don't know anyone with the same model, ask the casa if you can test drive the same model to verify your problem.

ano gear pag namamatay on an uphill climb? baka naman nanginginig na ay pinipilit mo pa rin instead of shifting down.

Tingin ko sa pagtimpla mo lang yan bro...practise ka lang sa mga uphill yung hinde sa hiway dun sa mga subdivision na pataas...meron ka pa kaseng ugali ng pagtapak dun sa dati mong sasakyan kaya di mo pwede yan gamitin sa vios mo tulad nyan di mo masyado pa ginagamit kase wala pang 300 odo mo...practise practise...^__^

Ang L300, sobrang dali timplahin kasi diesel - the 4D56 and its 5speed MT is a very very forgiving drivetrain.

Sa L200 ako natuto magdrive and its clutch is much much easier to master than other MT cars.

Normal lang bro mag 1 month na sa kin yung 1.3 E Manual ko, may times nag oover rev naman ako dahil baka mamatay engine pag primera coming from fullstop pa uphill. Naninibago pa din ako pero alls well.

Acceralation lag is also part of it.tama practice lang

Just curious, ano ba exactly yung acceleration lag? is it a function of the driver nailing the throttle against the expected acceleration? Or is it down to probably lack of torque. I don't experience any lag in my 1.5G A/T, although I feel the transmission can be lost at times during part-throttle acceleration.

sir hindi ka nag iisa... i used to drive L300 too... mas madaling i drive ang L300 kasi kahit batawan mo na agad yung clutch sa primera na hindi nakaapak sa acceleration pedal umaandar tlga compare sa vios natin na pag binitawan mo yung clutch mamamatayan ka tlaga... so kailangan mo sabayan ng gas... practice lang yan sir... ako rin lagi ako namamatay sa primera... sa uphill ang technic ko... naka handbrake ako den apak sa clutch den bitaw sabay ng apak konte sa gas pedal mararamdaman mo umaandar saka ko bibitawan yung handbrake... mas madali ito compare dun sa clutch plus break plus gas pedal... sanayan lang yan sir

^Sanayan lang yan sir. Diesel kasi L300 kaya di namamatayan pag primera. Ganyan talaga pag gas engine, kelangan timplahin ang clutch.

A diesel will run even without touching the gas. praktis ka lang. Electronic throttle kasi ang vios, me delay talaga ang timplahan nyan.

may nangyari s akin ngayon ngayon lang... bakit ganon nag try ako sa sobrang tarik hindi kinakaya umakyat ng steep na daanan? vios 1.3E m/t po sa akin... kailangan ko pa mag bwelo para makaakyat... hirap ba talaga umakyat ang 1.3 pag medyo matarik na? napaatras tuloy ako para kumuha ng momentum para lang makaakyat... ang tarik kasi ng paakyat sa parking namin dito....

hindi ko masabi kung 40 o 50 degrees sir kasi sobrang ikli lang ng paakyat n yun... pag mula sa entrance paakyat ng 10degrees... tapos liliko pakaliwa paakyat ng 40/50 degrees once na mag stop ako sa gitna nung daan n yun or nag bagal ako nanginginig n yung makina pag mabagal... pag nag stop mamamatayan ako or kahit alalayan ko ng clutch wala talaga e... kailangan my bwelo... btw 2 lang kami kanina sa sasakyan at 35 psi ang gulong ko hindi kaya dhl sa gulong? pero hindi e sa makina kasi hirap na hirap sya... bakit sa automatic na 1.5g walang effort yung pag akyat... kahit mag stop sya sa gitna nun nakakakyat...
