ask lang sana ng few questions regarding the base model rav4. my family is planning to own one na kasi. we went to MIAS 2013 where toyota has a rav4 displayed on their booth. may nakausap na kasi akong agent. according to him, wala daw masyadong discount or freebies yung rav4. dont know kung dahil ba sinabi ko na cash basis kami pag nagpurchase (hopefully by June). ang sabi lang nia is ang standard lang na freebies ay yung tint (windshield-visor only; tas ipapakiusap pa ung 3M brand), standard tools and jack. but when i browsed sulit.com.ph wherein may mga ads ang other dealers, they offered tint, mats, rustproofing, tools and jack, early warning device, etc.. parang hindi sulit ung kuha namin sa Pasong Tamo Dealer (the one in MIAS) kung un lang ang offered nilang freebies. and may i ask, how much kaya if magpa-additional kami ng roof rails and window visors sa casa? ang plain kasi tignan ng rav4 kung wala ung roofrails. ung visor naman pwede na siguro sa labas kasi mahal daw yata sa casa. ayun thanks!

Dont buy a car bec of freebies. Meron ako kakilala noon, di siya maka-decide kung Honda Crv or tucson first gen. The tucson gave a lot of freebies, tapos naka-squuueze pa sya ng car cover. Ngaun 6 years have passed, lagi niya sinasabi ampangit-pangit daw ng oto nya. Tapos mga freebies na bigsy sa kanya nakatambak lang daw sa bahay.

Try to check out subaru forester, I was to buy a rav 4 last jan but change my mind , to buy 4x4 in pasong tamo you have to change the wheels to 20" which is worth almost 100 k.

nice ride sir! ito din sana ride ko next month kaso lumipat na lang kami sa fortuner for some reasons. pero to be honest, mas gusto ko mukha ng rav4, mas aggressive tignan, gwapito tlga haha!

i definitely agree with you sir. haha! but since im the one who will be using the car, i think it will be practical for me to have a diesel suv. i used to travel cavite to taguig for work and with the prices of the gasoline nowadays, i would prefer to have diesel. haha!

Hi Sir Furukawa, can i ask some questions? sabi sa internet matagtaga raw yun ride ng new RAV? ramdam ba mga potholes natin dito? and kamusta pala aircon? kaya ba yun init kahit walang rear aircon vent? and lastly, may eco and sport mode ba yun local unit natin? marami kasi wala sa brochure ng Toyota ph e. naka wait list kasi ako sa base and full option e, kung ano mauna, yun ang kukunin ko. thanks!

Last month dumaan ako sa Toyota Pasig and BGC to see the actual unit. Wala sila display at puro leaflet lang binigay saken. Just last week both Casa texted me to inform that they didn't have unit yet. Tingin ko wala talaga sila ma display kase either malakas ang sales or konti pa lang dumadating saten.

Ride and handling is superb, powerful engine, very low NVH, good suspension feel.

Fuel consumption, I'm getting average 14.2L/100KM, which is about 7KM/L city driving only. I'm a bit light footed, but every time I get stuck in traffic gas consumption gets bad quickly.

Overall, very very satisfied with the all new Rav4.

I'm just wondering about the driver side Automatic Power Window, it only automatically goes down, does NOT automatically go up. Tried calling the casas but none of them can give me a straight answer if this is a defect.

So I'm a bit puzzled when you say that my power window is operating normally. So possibly this is a defect that is not limited to my unit only.

I will have this checked by casa asap for a definite answer.

No sir I don't have one. But I'm already eyeing this unit or the new CRV. Wala lang talaga display unit dun sa Toyota Pasig and BGC. About the power windows, most of the cars I own (Escape and Hilux) pababa ang lang ang automatic nya at pataas hinde. So I just assume ganun din sa RAV4. Sabi ng iba, safety feature daw eto kase meron dati accident sa US na naipit ang leeg ng bata nung napindot ang power windows pataas. Of course mga kotse noon sa US kahit sa passenger side automatic pwede itaas. Paconfirm mo na lang sa CASA sir.
