    mga sir, help naman....

    namamatay ng kusa yong engine ko pag naabot na niya yong half temp sa panel gauge. tapos masyado bumababa ang rpm tapos mamamatay na lang. pero pag start mo ulit, ok na naman. lalo na pag mag menor ka, bigla na lang mamamatay kahit nasa 3rd gear ka going to 2nd gear.

    ano kaya ang cause nun? tapos may naririnig akong tunog na parang relay na nageengage behind sa dashboard. tik tik tik tik tik ang sound nya sabay na bumababa na rin yong rpm.

    saka ano po ang tamang kulay nung tip nung spark plug pag perfect combustion siya? kulay black kasi yong sa akin eh...

    The insulator nose is of a grey-white/grey-yellow to light red-brown colour. The electrode erosion is low. The thermal value of the spark plug has been chosen correctly. No thermal overload. The mixture and ignition settings are correct, the engine is in good condition. Observed also the color of the tip of the muffler during long drive whitish grey in color. If the color is black Cause:
    incorrect mixture adjustment: mixture too rich, air filter heavily soiled, defective cold starting device. Predominantly used for short journeys. Thermal value of the spark plug too high

    Red is perfect. Black is too much fuel.

    Check the condition of your MAF sensor (I think the Silvertop uses an MAF, the blacktop uses a MAP)... it's probably dirty.


    But the dying issue could be a stuck idle air control valve (sticks when it gets hot) or something else.
