Problem with my toyota vios 1.3E M/T

Ask lang po if you had experience already good idling yung vios but poor acceleration when running no matter how you push the throttle pedal? We already replaced a new fuel pump pero ganoon pa din po ang problema. Unless apakan ng todo (deep press) yung gas pedal dun pa palang mag-accelerate. Pinacheck na rin po namin yung ECU pero normal naman po ang result. MAF sensor, Oxygen sensor and throttle position sensor pinacheck na din po kaso same problem pa din. Any idea po para masolve yung problem? salamat po

check the basic items first. check the air filter, check the fuel filter, check the engine oil quality and level, check the fuel quality, check the ignition. if you can, take pictures of the spark plug terminals with labels which cylinders they were pulled out of and attach it to your response post

Bro ano model ng vios mo? Nagpalit ka ba yun fuel filter tsaka yun strainer sa fuel pump?

I already checked and clean air filter and even replaced fuel filter and change spark plug too. But I haven,t changed engine oil and tune up yet. I'll try to do perform these. thank you po

Vios 1.3E 2008 bro. Kang bibili ko lang 2nd hand. Unang scenario tinanggal yung battery then kinabit ulit. PagkaStart ng engine ang lakas ng vibration ng engine. Ang sabi dahil daw sa pagkakareset ganun daw talaga ang mga vios kahit na new models.(wala naman ako naencounter na ganun sa ibang sasakyan, thinking na siguro nga ganun lang talaga. 500rpm). So tinest drive namin ok naman yung performance. After ng test drive kinuha ko na. (ang mali ko hnd ko tinest ng long drive). Noong pauwi na, nagloloko na namamatay na yung engine at very low yung rpm. palyado yung makina at very low speed and 700-2000rpm. Parang ang gusto ng engine more than 2krpm at more than 60kph. Once na bumaba sa rpm and speed palyado na ang makina. Nilinisan ang air filter at nagpalit ng spark plug medyo gumanda ang takbo hindi na sya palyado at first pero kapag me nakalayo layo na ng konti bumabalik yung sira.
One day pinalitan ng fuel pump buong kit gumanda naman yung takbo hindi palyado in continues drive pero kapag inapakan mo yung gas pedal kahit full na apak hindi umaangat yung rpm. Hindi proportion yung apak ng gas pedal dun sa rpm reading (very poor acceleration hindi ka pwede umovertake parang kulang lagi ang supply ng gas sa engine) unless deep press.
Bago naman binili tinanong namin if binaha ba yung car sabi hindi. Bro pano ba malalaman if binaha yung unit? thanks

Binabalik ko po yung unit noong araw din na nabili ko kaso ayaw nya kasi nagkapirmahan na daw. Hindi ko pa naiuuwi yung unit that day pero ayaw talaga. Pero kapag hindi maayos try ulit pakiusapan baka gustuhin na nya. Noong pinalitan naman po yung fuel pump alam naman po nya at nandun din sya noong pinapalitan.

pero since wala namang choice, pa scan mo na lang para matumbok yung eksaktong sira.
mahirap kasi manghula eh, mas gumagastos.

Pinascan ko na din po sa casa and normal result naman po ECU. I-try ko po muna change oil and tune up. salamat po.

btw, just so you know. normal lang po sa Vios gen2 na nag ba-vibrate ng malakas kapag tinanggal/kabit battery. because the ECU relearns your system. pero you just have to rev hard for about 2 or so minutes mag OK na ulit sya.

hirap nangyari sayo. sana maayos yang oto, if i were you tatakutin ko na lang pinagbilhan mo, sabihin mo buy back or pag hindi papa halungkat mo history nyan, pag nalaman mo kamo na meron syang hindi dineclare na bad history yan, kakasuhan mo sya.

Review your deed of sale, mayroon clause na "as-is, where is" yan and that's what the dealer will use as his escape clause. However, you can still consult a lawyer and find out your legal remedies or still try pakiusap with the seller before anything else.

Was the MAF sensor cleaned already? What is the mileage of the Vios? Did you verify this with the service booklet and CASA records?
