Variants, features of PH-spec 2021 Toyota Fortuner plus Legender

There will be a 2.8L 4x2 Q and LTD variants!

The 2.7L VVT-i gas engine was gone.

Legender name for PH will be Fortuner Limited (LTD)

Editor noted the ABS being standard daw. LOL. its always been standard. the basic safety suite should have been highlighted though. medyo hindi marunong sa marketting.

pricing wont be surprising. i hope the TSS tax won't be too much like that on the super grandia.

I'm surprised with the exclusion of side and curtain airbags if the report is true. 2.8 Q gets TSS but no 7 SRS lol. Need to upgrade to Legender to get it. Even the lowly Vios gets 7.

    I'm guessing price of the 2.8 Q will match the current 2.8 V. Legender 4x2 maybe 2.5M, 4x4 2.8M?

Wouldn't mind the climate control downgrade if they made TC/VSC standard across all models

Also a plain steering wheel and old mag wheel design... If that will be sold at a higher price than the current outgoing model, mas sulit yung luma...

It will have the new look but will have the same taillights as before, LED DRLs, and the same 17-inch wheels as the outgoing model.

The G grade will have a urethane steering wheel, a 6-way manual adjust driver's seat, fabric upholstery, a 7-inch touchscreen unit, 6-speakers, keyless entry, rear sensors, a reverse camera, and 3 airbags (driver, passenger, driver's knee).

Fortuner facelift super nice. 2.8Q 4x2 looks like the best buy of the lot - 201 hp engine, finally a decent sized HU, leather seats, LED headlamps, Toyota Safety Sense. All for under 2M so it undercuts the Everest Titanium. Also looks far better than the Montero Sport GT.

Nakakahiya na bumili ng G variant.

The variants now can be easily distinguished from the outside.

The 3rd row and the suspension still sucks though. So kahit maganda on paper ang Q variant, same old problems pa din.

Nothing wrong with a 1.6M purchase. With the lower Idling rpm it is the most fuel efficient suv when stuck in traffic..

    it's a fortuner!
    walang dapat ikahiya, anumang variant.
you can always say, "it's a gift. i had no hand in the decision-making process."

I think they nailed every price range from 1.7-2.4M. Since you've mentioned the "Q", It does tick all the boxes.

Yes for speed sensing but NO for airbags... only front driver and passenger? [emoji15]

Perfect example is Honda Pilot and LC 200 sa US.

Halos hindi mabenta dito sa Pinas pero pasok sa top 5 sa US.

For Lc200's case naman, hindi mabenta sa US, pero toyota being toyota, came up with the sequoia.

Same sentiment here. a 2m worth unit with only 2/3 airbags? Most cars with a 3rd of its price has minimum of 6 airbags already. Though taking the airbags deletion out of the equation the Q model is the best buy of the bunch with the right amount of tech and amenities plus that more powerful 2.8 diesel engine on a 2wd unit.

I remember the current Fortuner when first released, the Fortuner G model had rear Drum brakes and sales agents were giving us some Marketing BS about it being better than disc brakes. But lo and behold after 6 months or more i think totyota updated new fortuners with disc brakes in the rear.

so i might be guessing toyota might do the same for this facelifted Fortuner and adding 4 more airbags in the near future if enough buyers clamor for it.

If you based the specs, baka lalangawin LTD variant nyan if lagyan nila ng 6 Airbags ang Q variant.
9 JBL Speaker, 12V:2, Downhill Assist, at two tone color nalang differentiator nila sa Q if ganun.
Mga naghahanap ng 4x4 nalang cgro bibili ng LTD if ganun.
