A fortuner isnt chump change.....thats serious money and takes a serious commitment with someone who has a serious income stream to be able to commit to..there are exceptions of course.

If you can buy a 2m peso car then yes...in our country....youre in the top percentile.

Yeah. One uses it for his successful networking story. The other say he's already "made" or some s*** like that, and wants to look respectable. Nothing wrong with that though... Whatever floats their boat.

Natatawa din ako before back in around 2009, my father owned a 2.7L gasoline Fortuner, a real gas guzzler. We brought it in our province in Cotabato, and people were turning their heads.
Maybe for some people, ultimate vehicle lang talaga ang Fortuner.

But one can always avail of a 20% dp scheme?

    btw,
i am still wondering why they put the 2.4 into the fortuner and the 2.8 into the innova.
mas marami siguro ang bumili ng innova (because of resultant cheaper price) had their engines had been exchanged.
Isang hula din ang profile ng typical Innova user pang extended family or business use. Mas maraming tao or cargo na dala.

Pansin ko sa Fortuner, mas pang personal use, madalas 1, 2~5 pax ang sakay.

But of course we're in a 3rd world country where being able to buy a starter car like an eon or wigo is a big deal already

So being able to buy a truck turned SUV is a bigger deal

    Yeah i get it
