    just add a reversing camera and youre gold. maganda14inch wheels.. the sidewalls will be tall for that awesome air- ride

    Marketing ploy to connect to those who owned it before. Im not seeing many new vios'es on the road compared to other launches, so i was thinking they are betting on nostalgia feels to sell more.

    Hey it's been 30 years since the line debuted, aint that old yet.

    Similar to what Toyota did in the early 2000's with the AE111/EE110 "Love Life" Corolla

    They created a "LE" variant, to slot between the XL and the XE variants.

    Basically a Corolla XL with 14"rims, side mouldings, and power steering.

    The XE at the time already had power windows, and the extended bumpers and updated euro taillights similar to the 1.6GLi and the 1.8 SEG Altis. But still has the venerable 2E engine

    Think of it like the Bonux detergent brand. It was created to protect the market share of Tide against "lower tier" detergents. P&G products pareho.

    I agree. Wala din ako masyadong nakikita na all new vios. Xpander ang dumadami pati ung mga Rush parang nawawala na.

    Maybe you just didn't notice them. The new-look Vios does not have much of a difference with the older one unless you happend to be directly behind or in front of it.

    ^ I think the XE variant is basically a J variant with a CVT (instead of a MT), and touchscreen head unit (Instead of a 2-din stereo)

    Correct sir, 2013, shortly before the 3rd gen was released, naglabas din sila ng 1.3G, basically a 1.3 E variant, with the accessories of the G naman.

2019 Toyota Vios 1.3 XE
