What actual data are you expecting? CVT's assumptions are correct based on my experience driving both gas and diesel Innovas. So if you do 15,000 km a year, you'll recoup the additional 102k in under 3 years.

The diesel Innova is also much more powerful compared to the gas variant, so you won't have any problems with carrying heavy loads or lots of people, even on uphill climbs.

I don't see any reason to get the gas Innova at all.

Hello mga ka tsikot.. any tips to lessen the 2016 innova 2.8 a/t engine vibrations? Sanay na ako sa heavy steering while manuevering... yung engine vibrations na lang that creates that noise na ramdam mo sa cabin especially when you release the accelerator while the car is slow moving or youre slowing down... i thought before sa na sa gulong lang na manipis kaya ganun... still i love the innova.. kakainggit lang yung smooth running ng ppv suv lalo na yung sa ford everest haha..

    Highway short trip 25km around 90km/h with 2 adults 1 child - 17.5km/L
Mixed driving (city and high way) around 60% moderate traffic, 25% heavy traffic, 15% light traffic. From full tank to empty - 11km/L
Highway long trip going north (NLEX, SCTEX, TPLEX) 4 adults 4 children average speed around 100km/h - 16km/L
Highway long trip going back to manila (TPLEX, SCTEX, NLEX) 4 adults 4 children average speed around 120km/h - 14km/L
Mine is also 2.8 AT and I'm also getting same mpg.

Sakay ka ng previous gen. Fortuner (have one) or an isuzu! Di mo na mapapansin vibrations! Hehe.

Seriously speaking though like for like pino na ang gd diesel engine ng toyota especially for a long stroke diesel. Mababa na nga compression nya comapared to previous generation diesels kd series included. If course gasoline engines are still somewhat better at NVH but getting close nadin.

actually yun ang medyo nakaka disappoint sir.. i have hilux 2.5 vnt edition.. engine vibration is minimal and better of course compare to my innova..

ang nakakataka sa innova 2.8, pag naka idle engine at around 800 rpm, hindi malakas vibration,, when you press the accelerator and the rpm is exactly * 1000 rpm, sobrang lakas ng vibrations na ramdam talaga... but again once you pass the 1000 rpm all the way to the top ay smooth ulit... may sweet spot sa 1000 rpm haha... i dont know if only my unit has this... papa check ko din sa toyota sa pms.. unlike sa old school diesel engine, expect vibrations at idle but once you press the accelerator, mag smooth na kahit papano yung andar...

Sometimes, it is the diesel idle drowning sound that matters. The 3.0 d4d has less vibrations at idle but the drowning sound is so bad. Deafening...lalo na sa traffic. The 2.5 d4d is noisier at idle pero pleasant lang sya. Mas ok cguro toh 2.8
