Based on experience po inoffer ng sales agent ng Toyota (Otis) ang tint as part of the freebies bukod sa payong, seat cover, etc. Siguro ganun din sa ibang dealer, part yata yon ng promo nila. Basically wala namang need ipagawa or ipaayos kasi okay naman ang Wigo aside from the fact na brand new naman nyo po sya kukunin.

as what one above says, "freebie package" yang tint. the car is already complete and fully functional, even without the package of freebies. ask in detail what the freebies package consists of. and if you are not happy with the freebie package they are offering you, you might counter-offer your choice of package. tell them, "ayaw ko nito. gusto ko ito, etc..."
btw, my casa-freebie tint is still alive and very well, since i got the car 2 years ago.

Same here, I got mine 2 years ago na din and the tint is still okay as well. Another note lang po kung kayo yung type na ayaw ng partially tinted lang ang windshield, better sa labas nalang kasi I believe hindi po pumapayag ang Toyota na buo ang ilagay doon, since siguro na free nga lang sya. I tried to insist mine pero di daw talaga pwede hehe! Not sure sa ibang dealer kung same din.

in this instance, i think the legal possibilities of full front windshield tint, agree with the financial question.

Yes I forgot to mention po na mas mapapagatos nga lang kung sa iba pa magpapa-tint kung ang issue lang is front windshield tint. It just so happened lang po big deal sya sakin kasi mas okay sakin yung di masyadong kita ang harap from the outside, at yung issues din ng init pag naka-tutok sa araw. :p If the budget is tight of course it's still best to go with the "free" tint.

the security and the safety issues of full front windshield tint are hotly debated in our country.
in some states in the usa, there is no debate. it is illegal to sport full front windshield tint.

Isa nga po yan sa reasons nung sales agent ko dati kung bakit ganun lang installation nila, pero still I can see a lot of cars sa streets po naten na tinted ang buong windshield where you can hardly see the driver, and some Wigos too.

I notice that while closing the hatch door, I must not release my fingers and let the door falls freely when it makes an angle of 30 degrees or less with the vertical, otherwise the door will smash onto the car body making a loud noise and vibration.
Do you also notice this in your Wigo?

Mine closes fairly well when fingers are released in less than 30 degrees angle. When pushed to close above that angle the dampers tend to pull the door down making a loud smash and vibration.

My previous post might create misunderstanding, I should write it more preciously.

If fingers are released when the door is at 30 degree angle or less, it will fall freely, the greater the angle is, the bigger the smash will be.

Each time while closing the door, I will release my fingers when the door is at about 10 degree angle with the vertical, the latch will lock without making much noise and vibration.

Been a wigo owner for almost 2 years now and I have no problem with the closing of doors, its just u since your car is brand new. Never had any problems with my unit (G/MT) and I only had to replace my stock battery to Motolite (Maintenance free/Asian market). Other than that never had any problem. Replaced the horn to Hella because we travel like 2-3 times a month from Mangagoy, Bislig City to Davao most of the time since we have our baby. My full tank is almost 1K and only 3 bars are used from Mangagoy, Bislig to Davao 213.3KM. The engine and pipe is so quite so I have to use my loud horn for people to see the car coming specially the kids. Just do periodic maintenance specially the changing of oil and for sure you will be fine. Another thing, use fat32 format for your USB sticks to be readable on your sound system. Try using 320 kbps mp3's to enjoy full surround music. Other than that me and my wife is really satisfied. To all the haters of wigo that is your problem not ours specially to those who doesn't have one. Ayaw'g kabalaka sulit ang sapi^, tested suy!

congrats on your new wigo. wigo user here also.
for fuel, just stick with 91 octane. dont fall for those high octane and people saying it gave them more power. c'mon. our wigo is 1.0 naturally aspirated only. sayang lang ang additional pesos for those high octane.

My wife is planning to buy wigo 1.0 g at as her 1st car. However, we're kinda worried about its ground clearance (though wigo has one of the if not has the highest ground clearance among the mini cars) because our garage (1st floor of the house) is elevated and the ramp is kinda steep. Does samurai rubber slip help at all? Thank you.

Try it first if you'll experience rubbing. If you do, then add the rhino lip. If not, leave it as is.

Based sa manual, octane 90 or higher will do and since 91 (regular unleaded) is the lowest available RON sa market, you can use any regular unleaded. But personally, I use 95 RON (premium) due to its additional detergents, personal preference tho
