in my mind, i automatically corrected his query to mean, 4.5 to 5.5 km/li.

too soft tires and coupled with 4 passengers daily and you probably havent done an oil change and that air filter is clogged.

ever since nabili ko si stealth my wigo wala pa ako naging problem sa car. engine support, aircon, wheel alignment, shock absorber and etc. last december 2016 ko nabili ang wigo g automatic first car ko sya and before nung nasa makati ako grabe gamit na gamit sa traffic mostly nararamdaman ko di masyado lumalamig pero dahil sa traffic at init ng panahon kaya madalas mas laspag pa daw ang sasakyan na babad sa traffic kesa dun sa malalayo ang tinatakbo kasi less stress sa engine then hindi madaling mag deteriorate ang engine oil. sa ngayon balik na ulit ako sa laguna nag wowork less traffic then malapit lang sa work tapos may lakad man ako na malayo eh nakakatakbo ng 100kph si stealth sa express unlike dati from hulo bliss to makati lang route ko pero ramdam ko stress ang engine. kasi malalaman mo gagaspang takbo nya once na naka idle lang sya matagal lalo na pag traffic.

Kaso may ma observe ako sa low rpm esp sa gear 1 and 2, always malakas vibration aabot hanggang dashboard. Normal po ba ito or kelangan na pa check? Ive heard some says normal lang dw ganito pag maliit ung engine. I really wanna know ur comments bout this. Unit is 2016 wigo 1.0 G MT. TIA.

AT, "1st gen".
7 km/li kung caught in traffic.
9-10 km/li ordinary, non-crawling traffic.
over 15 km/li in maintained expressway speed.
i am confident, MT should offer more, mebbe 10% more.

the new wigo is already vvti. that should improve km/li by 5-10 %.

don't be disheartened in the first several thousand km.
we started at 6 km/li, fresh out of the dealer's.

but for the same amount, you might want to get a pre-owned diesel innova.
our MT D4d gives us at least 9 klm/li in the city. that's about 205 km per 1000 bucks diesel fuel. spacious pa, at flood-resistant to boot.

Sa city driving, kaya ng 8-10KMS/L

Pero kung highway driving, kung maintain ng 70-80 KPH, kayang ma-achieve ang 12-15KMS/L

"Lone Driver" situation.

Kung meron nang load factor/driving condition at road condition..

dyan na magkakatalo..

Since 1.0 ang displacement ng engine, economical ang driving nyan for low speed purposes, pero idagdag pa yung + factors..

Drive belt, the thing that drives the alternator, water pump, aircon compressor and not the fan

yespo. most of today's FWD cars have electric fans and not belt-driven fans.
it is because of the history, that these belts are still alternately referred to as fan belts.

at any rate, the belt specs are probably in the owner's manual.

Ganun talaga ang 3 cylinder engine. Same vibration with mirage when picking up speed.

our AT's vibrations toned down after a few thousand km.

Yes for 3 cylinder engines expected ang ganito.

Furthermore, my friends who previously owned Wigos would mention that after a year or two, rattling sound from the body increases. I think since it's a Daihatsu originally, this is very common. My previous Avanza's "kalampag" was perceived to be part of its design haha.

Maybe just a poor choice of words used in the manual, but could the Wigo only have a generator & not an alternator?

Generators are old school. Technically, that would mean your battery won't be charging at idle speeds...

wigo is alternator. manufactured in a country where local, non-english language is strong.
but try the really old ones... pre- 68's VWs.. old jeepneys.. old cars that have not been converted..
