New Front grille (enlarged). New Front bumper.

Nakakabanas yung front grille at rear garnish.
Good thing nakakuha na kami last year.
The current one looks better in my opinion. The bigger grille is in line I guess with the current trend of large front grilles but the rear garnish looks really tacky. As they're calling it the Kijang, I'm assuming this is already out in Indonesia.
Imo, Yung new grill medyo hawig sa 3rd gen santa fe, heheh.

Toyota needs to take a page from Honda on how big grilles can be implemented tastefully.
For me mas maganda yung itsura ng current model ngayun pero kung naka vnt na to sakali i take the new one :D

Don't think so....
Mechanically it’s the same as before, with one petrol variant (2.0 litre with 136 PS and 182Nm) and an Indonesia-only diesel option (2.5 litre with 103 PS and 200 Nm). No changes to the choice of transmissions either, as the same five-speed manual and four-speed automatic gearboxes soldier on. Classic Toyota, then.

Aside from the decent power to weight of the current. There is no advantageous reason for doing that as well.
For 1.) it would demand increase in price. The current Innova is priced just about reasonably. Further upgrading the spec will leave a large gap between say, an Innova J diesel (currently 873k) vs a Mitsubishi Adventure GLX SE (794k). 2.) The Innova has no power deficit, in its performance. 3.) An engine with very long production run will have parts in abundance and should make reasonable price of it, too. and lastly 4.) Why should they? When competition such as Crosswind and Adventure are using prehistoric engines. Even the 102hp mill is already such a huge blessing.
At baka maglagay na rin yan ng 2.7 VVTi sa atin gaya sa ibang lugar.toyota, innova, toyota innova 2.7 vvt-i 8-seater specifications and pricing for used car and new car dealers - Unitrans Automotive
