Good Day Vios Gurus,
Padon my ignorance, but what's the difference between the 2din and 1din? I'm not quite well versed with audio specs..
Does the 1.3J still doesn't come with power windows/doors? Is it already power steering?
Lastly, how much is the price of the 1.3J?
Thanks!
The DIN number refers to the size of your head unit. A 1-DIN head unit is half the height of a 2-DIN unit.
1-DIN:
2-DIN:
Almost all head units that have LCD screens for movie viewing or GPS functionality are 2-DIN units. In terms of sound quality, this means close to nothing. It's really just a matter of size.
The 1.3J comes with power steering, windows and door locks. It costs Php 614,000, without discounts.
The difference between the 1.3J and 1.3 E are:
Alloy wheels for the E vs. Hubcaps for the J
Black door handles and mirrors for the J vs. Color keyed for the E
Anti-Lock brakes standard for the E vs. None for the J
Color keyed with plate side protective moulding for the E vs. None for the J
Wipers with Intermittent with mist for the E vs. Wipers with mist for the J
color keyed with plate lower back and backdoor garnish for the E vs. color keyed lang for the J
Black instrument panel for the J vs. Black with silver for the E
driver side (with holder) sun visors for the J vs. both sides sa E
Moulded door inside handle sa J vs. Plated one with the E
No room lamp in J vs. meron both driver and passenger sa E
Source: Vios brochure
Yung E po integrated HU, alloy mags, body colored side mirror and door handles, chrome trunk garnish, ABS/EBD (not sure if wala ang J nito).
Things that the 1.3E has that the 1.3J doesn't:
- Alloy rims (J only has steel rims w/ hubcaps)
- Anti-lock Brakes, Electronic Brake Distribution, and Brake Assist
- Body-colored side mirrors and door handles (these are black on the J variant)
- Integrated head unit with aux input
- Keyless entry w/ immobilizer
for the price, here are their respective srps:
Vios E A/T - 730,000
Vios E M/T - 695,000
Vios J M/T - 614,000
I suggest you get the E variant. For we have a max of 60,000 discount for the E model. So that brings down the price of the E M/T to 635,000, taking it significantly close to the J M/T's price. with the long list of upgrades of the E variant (from the J), and with only a price differences of 21,000, it is definitely more practical to get the E model.

Napansin mo pala. :hysterical:
Actually, ewan ko rin eh. Hahaha.
I was looking for an alternative city car lang naman talaga. Something I can bring to wherever without worrying about the gas prices. Malakas kasi sa gas yung Corolla at yung FD. Yung Corolla days ago dropped to a whooping 8km/L, the FD about the same.
First choice was a Honda City, 746k no discounts at all. Not even free LTO. Worth it? No.
Second choice was a Hyundai Accent, cheap.. pero daming problema. Not willing to gamble.
Third choice was this, Toyota Vios. Cheap, efficient & frugal to maintain. Perfect city car.
Ok sana yung Honda Jazz 1.3S MT, pero look at its price... 756k! Pathetic.
