2011 Toyota Fortuner new body and engine

Is it true that there will be a new body and engine for Toyota Fortuner that will be out this August 2011? orig release date is 2012 baka na pa aga kasi sobrang lakas ng Montero Sport lalo na with the new VGT engine. The S.A. from Toyota told me that this year they will also release new body for Vios, Hilux, Innova and Fortuner.

My Toyota friend said that the new D4D engines would also have a VGT to be called VNT variable nozzle turbo probably bumping the HP to 150-160...

Not really new ang body nya.Some minor exterior and interior updates lang yan at VNT/VGT na yung 2.5 Liter Turbo variant.

Change of front grille for Fortuner.

What's the use of a VGT if Toyota can't seem to care to call for a mass recall or help its customers solve the problems with their defective engines. (ie. black smoke, stalling, hard starting. etc...) Yes there is a dedicated thread here at tsikot for these problems.

Bakit ngayon lang lalabas dito?

Ayusin muna yung D4D issues. At sana ilagay din nila sa HiAce.

any pics nung sinasabing new body man lang for those mentioned units? vios pa lang kasi alam ko pero not sure if toyota would release it as the new one or magdadagdag lang nanaman sila ng additional add ons (like chin sa bumper for example) sa mga mentioned units

Kung wala pa sa ibang country ng new body di totoo yan unless global launch.

Pero yan din ung reason why we are holding back from buying a Genesis, Rav4 or Forester. Kasi nga due for a new model na mga Toyota's. Ung latest models since 2010 puro facelift - Camry, Altis, Fortuner, Rav4. And you know what's next after a year, a new model.

Sana nga may preview sa net pero almost every other week ako nagchecheck kahit spyshots wala

There are no news also but if a new facelifted version is coming, i think this will correspond to the Indonesian Avanza S...

same body pero new front and rear bumpers nagbago sabi ng kaibigan ko from toyota sta.rosa . July 2011 lalabas daw.
