Yes, evolutionary styling... the new Corolla is slightly lower and the passenger area was lengthened a bit. The Global Corolla/Corolla Alis is also wider than the old slab-sided model.
It also has a near-flat rear floor like new Civic.

I heard similar comments the first time the photos of the new Camry came out...
Some people even thought that the new Camry was just a facelift.

Hehe, I bet it'll still lead its class in sales worldwide even if they put a pair of bull horns on the hood hehe.

There's a strange Toyota here in SG, larger than the Vios, about the same size of the Corolla... It's not new, mga 1+ year nadin linabas dito. Kinda looks like this one.

We'll see how this new Altis will perform in the market once released....

Toyota has a way of selling their cars through branding.....

Personally I'd say there's a lot that needs fixing in the outgoing ZZE121 especially given how dated it is compared to the competition.

But hey, a Toyota's a Toyota. Corollas have zero panache whatsoever (even a Vios has more personality to it) but people just buy them like appliances...

That must be the JDM Corolla Axio (gray market)...
Its basically a narrow-body version of the global Corolla/Corolla Altis.
The Axio is slab-sided like the outgoing Corolla Altis to keep the width within 1.7m(lower tax in Japan?) vs the global Corolla's more muscular bulging sides.

I think it looks like a baby version of the USDM/JDM Camry.
