The Corolla and Matrix are powered by a 132hp 1.8 liter engine, the XRS variants are powered by a 158hp 2.4 liter engine.

the matrix's interior seems like a carryover design from the previous gen. exterior looks odd on a 3/4's view. seems like a large MPV than a hatch...

November 1st, 2007 11:09 AM #5The exterior gives a hint of the current Camry, body seems wider, which gives it an aggressive and more stable look on the road compared to the old tall body, though not much a remarkable change in the interior compared to the Civic and Lancer. I thought it would be somewhat similar to the Toyota Auris'
How soon will the new Corolla be available here?
