50 series tires give better "look" and sharper handling.
55 series tires gives better slightly better ride but softer handling.

50 series and 55 series tires refer to the height of the tire side wall. It is a percentage of the tire width.

So 195/50r15 tire is:

195= 195mm wide tire thread
195x50% = 97.5mm tall sidewall
r15 = 15 inches diameter wheel

is your car lowered or stock? ... what do you value more? looks of the car, handling of the tires on the road or comfort of the people riding in it?

I have two cars. On rides on 50 and the other on 55. The with one 50 is setup for performance. Ride is rather harsher because of the stiffer suspension but it handles very well. The other car with 55 is my daily driven car.

stock po. actually ang existing nya ngayon is 195/50r15. kailangan na sya palitan so i'm torn between to tires. so which is which really

di naman po ako kererista. i mean for daily use lang car ko. nagkataon nung binili ko sya yun na ang nakakabit(195/50r15). kaso nung nagshashop na ako for replacement nakita ko nga na may 195/55r15 pala kaya medyo nagulumihanan na po ako.
