    Hi Guy's,

Inputs naman dyan regarding sa 17" Wheels. As of now, 15" ung gamit ko. I'm planning to replace it with a 17" wheels.

Do I need to upgrade also my excisting shocks?

My car is a Vios 2008.

    Thanks

no you dont have to replace the shocks. expect the ride to be a bit harsh though. the XX limited and S variants of the vios also have 17s stock rims. I have also a 2007 Vios and replaced the mags to 17s. just follow the tire profile of the vios S/XX limited. 205/45/R17.

The ride will be very uncomfortable with 17s on a VIOS. You'll be better off with 16s as your biggest wheel size.

BTW, handling deteriorates on the VIOS with 17s.

don't know if the nitrogen affects the ride quality, the ride is tolerable w/ 17s filled up with nitrogen. not much of a difference from 15s, pero pag nalubak, dun mo lang mapapansin. kablag talaga. the factor that makes me want to switch back to stock 15s is the feeling of the vehicle being heavy with the 17s. noticeable specially in stop and go city traffic.

Will 17s on a Vios make the odometer/speedometer inaccurate?

mas OK pa pala mag 215/40R17 sa Vios kesa sa 205/45R17 based sa calculator. kasi mas maliit ang disparity.

215's will probably scraped some plastics on your fender when turning.
