EDIT: Incorrectly named the Kintanars as Henares...

It should be Benjamin and Gloria Kintanar found Guilty.

Tax Appeals court convicts Forever Living dealer

    Article posted August 12, 2010 - 12:36 PM

The Court of Tax Appeals has found Forever Living dealer Benjamin Kintanar Jr. guilty of tax evasion and sentenced him up to two years in prison, Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Hacinto-Henares said Thursday.

At a news briefing at the Department of Justice in Manila, Henares said the court promulgated the decision last Wednesday.

"This court finds accused [Benjamin Kintanar Jr.] guilty beyond reasonable doubt for willful failure to file income tax returns in 1999," said the court ruling read by Henares.

The court sentenced Kintanar a minimum of one year to a maximum of two years of imprisonment.

Forever Living is networking-type of business that sells health products.

Last year, the Court of Tax Appeals already convicted Kintanar's wife, Gloria, for failing to report heer income as Forever Living distributor.

The BIR sued the Kintanar Spouses before the court under its Run After Tax Evaders Program in 2005. — Sophia Dedace/RSJ, GMANews.TV

Kainis...kung sino pa yung mababa ang sweldo, like the rank and file employees eh yun pa ang nagbabayad ng tama ng tax nila.

I know of business folks who cheat on their taxes....sabwatan ng accountant yan at BIR employees as well as the tax payer kuno.

Dapat parang IRS yung BIR natin, efficient.

Never, because these people give out millions in campaign contributions every election.

Alam mo na sa Pilipinas, everything is controlled by the Oligarchy.
