Your staff should know everything about your product. As much as possible, don't hire staff who are just after compensation. Your staff should be passionate about the nature of your business.
I really hate it when a sales attendant tells me stuff like:
ME: Anong pinagka iba ng A sa B.
STAFF: Ser, mas magaling po ang B dahil mas mahal po siya.
