the law does not stipulate that the accompanying driver must hold a professional driver's license. any driver with a valid license, even non-pro, is allowed.
sa totoo lang, kahit sinong driver na may non-pro license, ay puedeng magturo sa iyo mag-drive. but i agree.. i would rather drive one of the school's cars, dahil ayaw kong mabangga ang kotse namin habang nag-aaral. and those classroom lectures of the driving school, are a big help to newcomers.. teach them right the first time.. old habits are hard to change..

May validity date ang Student Permit. After magmature, you can apply for a Non-Pro License at LTO offices. Ask LTO personel what requirements you must have to bring upon applying for a Non-Pro.

As for the Topic, any Driving School you may prefer as long they are accredited by the DOTC and LTO.

About Driving Lessons in Driving School, mas ok if they will teach you first the basics of traffic signs and traffic rules and how to understand and apply them in your daily driving. Defensive driving, Road Courteousness and Road Worthiness is a lesson must be taught and learn.

In actual driving, once you have familiarize with the controls of your vechicle. Careful driving operation is first bear in mind once you are on the road, driving. Think safety first, always consider others, that you are not the only one using the road. Always watch your back, aside from both side. Take time to develop your skills in driving, don't rush it.

I hope you don't take that advice seriously. The Fast and The Furious, Transporter, Wangan Midnight, and Initial D are all NOWHERE NEAR REALITY. Sure you're just a high school student, but even at that age I knew what was real and what wasn't.

If you want a game that has some semblance of accuracy, get a Logitech G27 steering wheel and play rFactor or Assetto Corsa.

Better yet, try karting, or if you can, a real track day at Clark or BRC.

Sorry I was just kidding sir! Of course I know they're not real! I'm pretty sure no one can drift without breaking the tofu in their trunk.

I'm not into racing in real life though but if we're talking about racing in video games like Initial D, Gran Turismo then it would be a yes for me.

My dad wanted me to drive for him throughout this long summer break (classes will start on August) and when I have free time during my college days. I also suggested that I bring a car if my classes would end at around 7PMish or later. So yup here's why I'm taking driving lessons. :D

From my experience, they usually ask you when you're available then they check their own schedule if there's a slot for your preferred time & day. I scheduled mine 3 hours per session.
