Ito ang costs ng imported fuels this November based sa computation ng MOPS...
Diesel: P25.50
Unleaded: P22.00
last night sa news, Sea Oil rolled back it's diesel by 2petot and 1 peso for gasoline. lipat naman tayo sa seaoil mga peeps. as of now sa small players muna ko mga imported pa diesel nila. current load ko was from unioil pa.
napansin ko trend iba iba umuuna mag rollbacknilalaro tayo

MANILA , Philippines - Independent oil firm Seaoil Philippines on Tuesday implemented a P2 per liter rollback on its diesel products and a P1/liter cut on its gasoline and kerosene products.
Seaoil spokesman Rey Jimenez said in a text message that the price adjustment took effect at 2 p.m.
A radio report said that with the reduction, Seaoil’s diesel is now being sold at P34 a liter while its gasoline price stands at P38 a liter.
The report quoted the Department of Energy as welcoming Seaoil’s rollback and encouraged the independent oil company’s competitors to follow suit.
Seaoil’s oil price cutback happened only hours after Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita urged oil firms anew to be “sensitive" to the situation that Filipinos are facing in light of the upcoming Christmas holiday.
Ermita said given the oil pump prices’ trickle-down effect on the price of electricity, the oil players should coordinate with the government to help bring down the price of petroleum.
Oil prices have already plummeted below the $54 per barrel level on Tuesday in Asia . Mark Merueńas, GMANews.TV

Unioil Petroleum Philippines Incorporated slashed Wednesday prices of its gasoline and diesel products as world crude prices continued to drop.

World oil traded only slightly higher in Asia on Wednesday despite pledges of billions of dollars in fresh cash by US and European officials trying to battle a global credit crunch, dealers said.
New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for January delivery, rose 42 cents to 51.19 dollars a barrel from a drop of 3.73 dollars Tuesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, where the contract closed at 50.77 dollars.
Brent North Sea crude for January rose 35 cents to 50.70 after falling 3.58 dollars to 50.35 on Tuesday in London.
Oil prices last week slumped below 50 dollars to levels not seen since early 2005. Concern for slowing global economic growth and its impact on energy demand has led oil prices to plummet from record peaks above 147 dollars in July. With Agence France-Presse

MANILA, Philippines – Citing the continuing downturn of world oil prices, independent player UniOil will rollback their gasoline prices by P6 per liter and diesel prices by P4 per liter Wednesday afternoon.
GMA News’ Julius Segovia quoted UniOil General Manager Chito Medina-Cue as saying that the price cut will take effect 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The price reduction brings diesel prices to P35 per liter and gasoline prices to P36 to 39 per liter.
Cue said they are projecting another round of rollbacks within the next days. - Sophia Dedace, GMANews.TV
Pure Diesel at Unioil Q. Ave now at P34.97 / li for both PUV and Private.
One question bakit mababa ang crude oil sa world market? Mababa ba demand? IMO mahina kumonsumo US Military ngayon kaya ganito, mahal ang gas pag panay ang atake ng US.![]()
IMO, pweding mahina ang spending power ng mga countries ngayon dahil sa global financial crisis kaya ang demand mababa. Yung consumption ng US sa Oil affected din because of their planned pull-out from Iraq and Afghan.
Hindi man drastic pull-out but I think they don't see any immediate need to hoard/buy more oil.![]()
yes magandang pamasko ito
ung big 3 di kaya nila kaya magbaba ng ganon kalaki?
Sobrang mura na nga for E10 nga lang mas mura pa kesa diesel that picture was taken just last monday, since nagbaba nanaman ang seaoil ng 1php for gas gayahan lang kasi ng price on that stretch panigurado baba din yung petron diyan sa pasig boulevard.
btw Unioil at Q.Ave - their diesel is at P33.97 on both PUV and Private.i still have a half full so might as well wait till next week or when the needle drops to 1/4 or 1/8

I think that the Olympics in China did a big thing to the demand. China had stocked up on so much oil and used so much metal to build their structures to ensure that the olympics would go perfectly. In this regard, it created very strong demand.
Now that the olympics is over, I think that the chinese reserves are still up so they probably arent ordering new oil for sometime, thus the demand has gone down considerably.
Also, do consider the US presidential elections - Its over!
If anyone was to gain from the high fuel prices due to a war in Iraq (which was a result of US military intervention), the first to really earn would be the American oil companies. It might just be a coincidence, of course. However, it would also have been a way to produce more funds for the any of the presidential candidates who was ran at that time.
