Just read a news from a forum that the govt paid the Polish firm 2.8 billion pesos for 8 brand new units of W-3 Sokół combat utility helicopter from manufacturer WSK-PZL Świdnik S.A of Poland.

naalala ko tuloy S-211 natin. maganda lang noon bago tapos pinabayaan nalang di namaintain ng maayos. sana alagaan naman nila ito bihira at pahirapan magka brand new ang PAF

proper maintenance lang naman para maging maayos ang aircraft ng militar natin kaya lang walang pondo, kinunurakot kasi ng mga opisyal ang pera pati narin ng mga asawa nila. makakapal na mukha.

Agree. Ok naman daw mga S-211 ng Agusta.

Yan din daw ginawang trainer jet ng Singapore. Tapos, ni-reconfigure pa daw at ginawang combat aircraft.

Yung sa Poland maayus din. Russian made or model type yung engine. GInagamit daw sa Antonov (now with Ukraine). I think Poland is one of the largest weapon exporters outside US, Russia, France and United Kingdom. Dati kasing headquarters ng Warsaw Pact.
