October 16th, 2009 04:29 PM #101That's probably enough to blast the hell out of the ASG.
That's a Hind, correct?

October 16th, 2009 05:31 PM #103It's even more scary than the AH-10 and AH-64. Although it's a bit fat...

October 16th, 2009 06:09 PM #107The KA-50/52? Do they still make those?
BTW, I vote a heavily armed UH-60 or the Mi-24. Best bang for the buck, literally. We probably don't need fighter jets for the meantime.

iirc, those are exclusive to the russian air force although they would be a sweet deal if it came in export.
another alternative would be the Mi-28 "Havoc" which would cost about. . . 826.2m petot a piece
though i am more inclined to the Mi-24/35 since a fully combat loaded UH-60 needs to get rid of the personnel compartment to make the fuel compartment bigger while the hind can fulfill both roles as a troop carrier and attack helicopter simultaneously.
It's not surprising that Mil still sells such an excellent airframe in the designation of Mi-35. as a matter of fact, it was even involved in the first helicopter to helicopter engagement in history claiming partial victory against the iranian sea cobraLast edited by safeorigin; October 16th, 2009 at 06:32 PM.

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
