So pag same units exported from Japan to Phil & USA, then mukhang ok etong V6 ng GV coz I read many good reviews from American customers.

Anu kaya kaibahan ng Bare APV with the current GL MT na APV? Same engine din kaya siya or mas maliit yung displacement?

    Thanks!

Maybe the agent meant same powertrain as the one sold in the U.S.

A USDM GV (above) will have modifications to the headlamps and taillamps to comply with US regulations requiring side marker lamps.

There are also additional warning labels on the sun visor regarding SUV safety (may rollover, etc.).

Engine will also have additional labels to comply with US regulations. May also have different ECU (OBD II) which includes addtional sensors for the engine.

No fender lamps for US models also (US regulations do not require them)

    Not much different.

Sana PhilHino also brings in the CRDI turbo-diesel Suzuki's like the one's they're selling in EU, OZ and NZ.

The 2006 Grand Vitara being sold in the EU & NZ has a Renault 1.9-li. DDiS (that's a CRDI turbo-diesel with 300Nm torque at 2000 rpm) engine and the Jimny being sold in Spain and Italy has a 1.5 li. DDiS turbo diesel engine. Wish they put this 1.5 li. DDiS engine in the APV then that's one practical utility mini van - tipid pa, a perfect workhorse for the family.

APV GT daw yung "bare model". same engine -1.6L, power steering and everything else is manual. Another thing: vinyl daw yung seats. i dont have any idea kung anu texture nun - similar ba yun sa seats ng base model ng new Grandia?

If its vinyl upholstery then it would look and feel more like the Innova J's. The Hi-Ace Commuter has vinyl upholstery but its a notch higher in quality bec. it has perforations.

Vinyl is just like leatherette. It's the same material I have for the Benz's seats.

Not far from those leatherette seatcovers they sell at the mall.
