anyone here a member of the swift owners club? how do i join the Yuku message board. I've been requesting access to the members only part of the yuku message board but it says that the admin still has not accepted my request.

Just want to share with you guys......
I ask the manager of Suzuki Alabang about the warranty of the vehicle when the rims and tyres are upgraded. He says the warranty of the vehicle is still intact except for the suspension system. So when your SA tells you that all of the warranty is no longer in effect, talk to the manager or supervisor, there is a good chance that the two have different view on the matter

if the new tire and/or rim generates excessive forces on the suspension and/or oomph components, there may be premature wear and failure of these components.
this is the reason such replacement of tires and rims may dishonor the warranty.
yes, you can argue in court, but why take the chance in the first place?
but if you really want to change them, better to consult a really knowledgeable tire and rim expert.

and yes.. keep the origs around, for re-fitting during the pms.

but you know some people.. they'll give you a difficult time if it will save them a few bucks.
keeping the origs for the pms is really a good idea..

Walang space sa condo namin ang tire ng sasakyan if tuwing check up e papalitan.. Hehe.. Hindi matutuwa ang misis ko dito kasi may specific siyang mags at kapal ng tire na gusto if suzuki swift kukunin namin.. Baka magbago ng isip yun. Ayawan ang swift.. Hehe..

kahit anong car manufacturer once na magpalit ka ng mags, ivovoid nila yung warranty ng shocks ng sasakyan mo. kaya yung iba tinatago talaga para sa need na nila ng PMS, ibabalik yung stock mags and tires

Kung shock lang naman void nila e ok lang. Wag lang yung full warranty ng ibang parts..

What would be the recommended tires for the swift using 17" rims? Stock kasi is 185/65 R15, would 195/50/17 or 205/45/17 tires work?
