Nope, walang price protection. Baka malaki itaas dahil introductory price lang yung current SRPs. Yung excise tax, I think mga more or less 50k yung itataas. So mga 150-200k nga daw yung total expected increase.

Ako nakapag down na din nga ako e. Pero might pull-out if wala pa din this week.

Ako na yung next sa pila, amp naman!

Meron daw GL+ na available, pero if Vitara kase, GLX lang ako talaga.

actually mas lugi nga sila if tataasan nila ung price, kasi mas magdadalawang isip mga tao bumili dahil medyo pricey na siya, so tingin ko out of control talaga nila ung nagawang pag ipit sa planta, pero sana nga lang talaga umabot parin tayo! haha

So If there's no IRR come jan 1, then it still not yet effective right? Or will this have a retroactive effect once the IRR has been issued?

As minicar said, parang na gud tym lang tayo ni Suzuki.... Had I gotten a GLX this year, this would be my first Suzuki. But after feeling frustrated with Suzuki's hoarding/tactics, like Uninvited, I too am considering other options like the HRV and XV. Baka pa-ikutin din ako ng Suzuki come PMS and warranty claims time. XV is a different class (I feel a class above) than the Vitara with its AWD system. MotorImage is known to give 6 digit discounts... so with the right promo, the XV will be a compelling buy.

The Philippine Vitaras are made in Hungary. Manual has a Magyar Suzuki label. The Hungarian make was also confirmed in the press releases as well as by my SA.

There is an Indian-spec Vitara made by Maruti Suzuki, but that's not what we got. The Maruti version is smaller as Suzuki targeted to meet tax incentives there.

Hi thanks for the reply. Would you know if the HU of gl+ has mirrorlink? I want to use waze and other apps on the HU via cable to my android phone since no wifi ang 7". Im thinking or just getting the gl+ if the mirrorlink works well. Thanks!

HU of GL+ has a mirrorlink feature. Natest ko to using my android phone. Once linked via USB, your phone screen will be mirrored on the HU. From there you will enable you to control your phone using the HU.

Apologies for saying that there's no option for mirroring your screen before. The GL+ headunit has MirrorLink built in, which can mirror your Android screen.

I'm an iPhone user, so all I got was Bluetooth connectivity as well as the iPod connection on the headunit.

That said, I dug up an old Galaxy Note 3 that we have here at home and tried to connect it. The phone's screen is duplicated on the headunit when connected via USB.

Mirrorlink is meh for me.

Much better if you just use your cellphone and mount it for navigation and the HU for media only.

I don't think any delay in the TRAIN implementation will matter. Suzuki will just keep on holding onto the units din naman e.. So clear winners here are Suzuki and this government.

Two options. Shell out more money in 2018 to get this Vitara, or have a change of heart, forget about it and move on.
