Hehe... I see it's much bigger than the current gen; so yeah, it's puzzling...

What's more puzzling (sans the 1.0-liter BoosterJet turbocharged engine):

On the other hand, engine options are likely to include the 1-litre BoosterJet turbocharged petrol, as well as the 1.2-litre petrol options. Reports also suggest of a 0.66-litre petrol engine making it under the hood in certain markets.

If that's the same old solid front axle(which I'm looking now on the spy shots) then there's high probability of same trouble. I hope they bring the diesel as the current MA13 is bit thirsty on gas.

I think the boxy body is outdated already. It looks like the kia soul to me or the nissan cube.

The new Jimny would retain body-on-frame construction and a four-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case. These parts should ensure that the SUV continues to be a capable off-roader. There would also be more advanced safety systems. The engine remains a mystery, though. The leaked photos arrived in August 2017, and the general speculation put the little SUV's debut sometime last year. It didn't happen, though, and the vehicle still hasn't premiered. The complete lack of teasers suggests that an unveiling is unlikely at the upcoming 2018 Geneva Motor Show, too.

The Kei Car look never goes out of style in Japan as the design is intended to take advantage of loopholes in Japanese automotive and insurance regulations.

Whether the Jimny follows this look in the end is still speculation, though.

Looks bigger. Sana may 4 door version sya. Suzuki ph wont bring in the standard vitara which is cheaper than the grand.
