Nice CB!

Yes, when we went up to Baguio we cruised at just 105kph. Max we did was 123-130kph. Ok na sa akin mag cruise at 100-105kph. Hehe.

Nice! Based on what I read so far, installing a bigger aux fan and insulating the cold line from the engine bay heat, does the trick and greatly improves the performance of the AC system

so far ok pa A/C ng jimny ko. stock pa everything. added insulation sa cold line before, but was advised by my aircon tech to remove it since no noticeable gain naman daw.

Planning to purchase a Jimny in the near future.
I have been reading this forum for several months and registered today.
Interested in this cooling fan modification. Where would I purchase the Montero fan and how much would it be?
I am presently living in the Las Pinas area.

    Thanks.

Question...would anyone know if this the right plugNplay Valeo Montero fan for the stock JB43 condenser fan motor? Thanks ahead!screenshot_20230321_133707_lazada.jpgscreenshot_20230321_133854_lazada.jpgscreenshot_20230321_133655_lazada.jpg20230321_093020.jpg

Did the montero aux fan sound louder than stock fan?

Thinking of replacing my fan kung in a year or two para kasing magandang investment para sa lifespan ng compressor hindi sya masyado hirap.

Yes JIX, mas malakas compared to the stock aux fan. Achilles heel ng jimny ang AC system. Nag high pressure ang system pag naka tigil ang rig i.e. bumababa lamig pag nasa traffic. Most people do is to upgrade the aux fan and condenser to a larger one - aux fan pang montero (valeo brand yata 5.5k around ang price) and condenser na pang triton (not sure about the price). Of course this assumes na tip top shape rest ng AC system - maayos buga ng compressor, no leaks, and clean ang lines.

I would recommend Ave's AC shop in Speaker Perez QC near Banawe. I have all my rigs serviced there. Medyo mahal ng konti but quality ang gawa and maayos kausap mayari - si Rex at assistant niya na si Salve.

Another AC shop that has done good work on Jimny's is EDS AC shop near Mindanao Ave. I just had one of my Jimny's serviced in EDS to try them out.

And a third one that's also recommended by a lot of Jimny owners is Carzone sa Banawe.

If you're getting a brand new unit and the AC is fine, I would suggest to keep it stock first.

    Thanks for the recommendation.

Presently trying to locate Auto Supply stores for replacement items such as oil, filters, fan belts, spark plugs along with a reputable shop to do tire rotation and alignments.
Reading about some of the horror stories concerning members experiences going into repair shops....
Access to parts and repair shops is not like what I am accustomed to where they are within 1-2 miles.

^you can get your usual PMS materials sa casa. If you want aftermarket replacement parts, for oil filter, belts, spark plugs, you can get them from your suking auto supply.

Usual PMS items such as air filter, oil filter, spark plugs, hindi naman mahal sa casa. SRP of OME air filter in casa is less than 700 pesos

+1 on what CB said - OEM parts the casa (Suzuki dealership) will be your best choice. For repair shops I stick to the following for all my rigs

Mechanical jobs and PMS including Alignment
    - Motorcraft in NS Amoranto QC

    Electrical
    - Rey's Electrical 15th Ave Cubao

    AC System
    - Ave's Aircon Shop in Speaker Perez QC

    Suspension lift and major modifications
    - Dr. G's near A. Boniface
    - 112 LC House in Fairview

I am from Muntinlupa but I let the drivers make trips to these shops. Very reliable and I know the owners personally.

^ok yung shops na yan. For SAS, we dont need computerized alignment right? Mechanical pwede na?

Maganda kay Dr. G. Daming eye candy. Yun lang they dont carry OME. Halos puro ironman hehe

CB, GP is also an authorized distributor of OME, if I am not mistaken ha. He installs a good number of branded suspension brands already.

In fact most likely sya gagawa ng Jimny using OME and a 2 inch body lift. Hehe
