Ako kanina sa skyway parang feeling ko 8to9kms per liter. Mababa gearing, nasa 4th gear na wala pa ako 40kph. Pag gusto mo magtravel above 80kph, almost 2,500rpm na rev range ko.

Just had the home service Suzuki Mechanics do work on the Jimny last Sunday:
1. Change engine oil (Valvoline Durablend semi-synth)
2. Change oil filter (ViC C-415)
3. Replace one of the fanbelts (Gates 4pk955)
4. Replace ATF (Caltex Texmatic)
5. Replace spark plugs (NGK bkr6E)
6. Disassemble and clean intake manifold and idle up
7. Replace valve cover gasket and spark plug o-rings (OEM)
8. Clean and adjust rear brakes
9. Clean and replace front brake pads (Bendix DB403)

They did point out that the front axle end seals (leaking grease) and engine supports (vibration when shifted into reverse with brakes applied) need replacing soon. Will schedule those works. Above listed works were started 9am and finished before 12nn.

Low gearing nga hehe yung 5th gear at 2000rpm nasa 60kph palang hehe



btw, Doc Otep, nagawa mo na ba yung squeaking belt ng jimny? nag-squeak din sa akin pag bagong start.

Nagawa ni Mang Mario pero nung nagpalit ng belt may konting squeak ulit. Baka bearing ng pulley?

Try ko pumunta this Sat. Ang ingay kasi pag first start. And nawawala lamig pag idle, when you rev it naman, bumabalik yung lamig.

Also, i notice sometimes theres a tok sound when i make a turn. What should i have checked?

Binili ko sa g and s auto supply kamias yung spark plugs. Sila din umorder ng pads about a year ago. Iniwan ko lang sa toolbox ng jimny.

Doc, sa Links banawe na ako mamimili sa sat hehe papacheck ko kasi AC ko in that area.

Do i need to bring grease pa ba? For the brakes, wheel bearing, etc.

Galing na ako kay Temyong kanina. Expansion valve abnd dryer lang pinalitan niya. Replaced it with orig denso.

Based sa diagnosis niya malakas pa daw compressor ko. Wag daw muna galawin.

So far ok naman at sobrang lamig na ng A/C
