Baka naka-4x4 ka sa city-driving? Lakas sa gas nyan at prone sa sira.

If it has any sensors, (air intake sensors, etc.) you can have them checked too by the CASA (cpu diagnostic?). We had a similar case with our Nissan Sentra Exalta before (decreased power, increased fuel consumption) and it was caused by a dirty intake sensor (the Mass Airflow sensor) sending a miscalibrated reading to the ECU.

January 11th, 2006 10:22 AM #134You disengage the lock if you reverse the car a few meters (not by gear alone)... it wont unlock by just placing the gear to 2wd from 4wd. Also, if its broken, even if you do the procedure it will not disengage
Also 4wd in hard road, like a parking ramp and im quite sure it has curves the more you stress the gears which can lead to broken locks.
Driving in 2wd but unknowingly its locked, the front differential is still spinning with the front tires... which lead to more gas consumption
again just my 2 cents, sorry if you know this already

April 3rd, 2006 02:00 PM #135i hav a 2004 jimny matic that started exhibiting this problem after the 30k checkup. the engine while on idling would exhibit sudden vibrations for 1 or 2 sec. this is intermittent. i hav observed that the idling would go down to abt 750, then the engine would jerk and then the idling would rise to abt 1000 before going down again. suzuki has replaced the crankshaft position sensor but it is still like that. i don't want to leave my car again at the shop while they try to do a hit and miss with the problem. has anybody encountered this problem?

try to have your throttle body cleaned first and have your Idle Speed Controller checked
