The name reminds me of Martin Short's character in Father of the Bride. Ha ha.

I know it's not a real hybrid, but if Suzuki is able to thread the needle and successfully lobby for green plates for this baby then expect sales to be really really good.

They managed to get that "green plate" for the Ertiga, and I heard/seen news that they're pushing really hard for the Dzire and the XL7 to get it too.

Who knows, Geely's Okavango finally made it to DOE's list... only time will tell.

    i wonder,
what is the basis for initially excluding mild hybrids from the green list?
if the mild hybrid can do similar km/li figures as a so-called regular hybrid...
    why not?

sa akin, ang question ko is why some mild hybrids (e.g. Ertiga) made it to the list, while others were not included (e.g. XL7)

then later, they approved adding the Okavango.

parang ang fishy tuloy nung list.

i would expect something like this, if the authorizing authority did not have a clear idea of their own specific criteria, i.e., "criteria in evolution".
