Ano ba ang issue mo with the thin metal? Takot kaba na madali masira pag nabanga o dahil baka mabutas pag napalo mo ng kung ano man? Be specific po.

Yung paint madali lang solution dyan if ever man manipis ang coats.

Baka madaling masira / mayupi sir kapag nabangga or madiinan ng kamay ng kung sino man. Family car kasi so ayun ang worry ko. AFAIK yung innova J e may ABS EBD na daw, but I might be wrong (hindi na kaya ng budget ko ang innova E). Yung revo kasi ng parents ko (na nasa kuya ko na) e 15 yrs na pero maayos pa din. Walang major problems na nangyari. So ayun po ang tinitingnan ko between innova and ertiga, yung kumbaga e kung tatagal ba talaga (with proper maintenance of course). Worry ko din yung parts availability after some years kasi nga will be keeping it for at least 10 yrs.

well earliest ertiga is 2012 )if im not mistaken) and it all started in india, and following their threads they are still happy with the car.

even those in indonesia are having a good time with it since its "just right" sa lahat, budget, size, speed, and most impt ung FC (as compared sa innova). imho the innova is a but hefty sa price so some argue if its really worth comparing. but say u did have the budget and went with the innova, you are content na. but going with the ertiga you are looking forward na to putting new mags, sound systems, etc. since so far no major issues are showing up with owners (even at 15k odo).

yup had 1st experience na with this, and also another member, unfortunately walang work around ingat nalang tagala like avoiding trucks na possible may bato sa gulong, etc,

all owners have their own quirks found with their ertiga's na but overall kse, its still reliable, fuel efficient, and a bargain at its price range. and looks better imho than the other 7 seaters off similar price range.

only regret is not having this sooner as other countries got this na since 2012!

maraming salamat sir butchoi.. tama ka, ertiga is "just right" and sulit, innova has a hefty price even for its base model na almost bare to the bones (alam ko kasi may ABS ang innova j). If not for toyota's "durability" and "reliability" then definitely I would buy ertiga. Pero tambay muna ako dito sa forum habang nagdedecide pa din. :D

If may ABS-EBD na nga ang J edi contender nga para sayo ang J. Alam kong matibay ang Innova pero consider mo din ang turbo. After 5 years and up pwedeng bumigay ang turbo mo, though madami akong alam na innova na 8 years pataas ok pa din stock turbo nila. I think pwede pa nga tumagal ng 10 years yun. In the event na bumigay nga turbo mo pagkamahal ng replacement nun kahit second hand.

Again, I am not saying na ampaw turbo ng innova ha. Alam ko matibay yun. So CHECK mo ng maigi sa SA mo sa Toyota kung may ABS-EBD nga yung J. Kasi if that is the case, contender ang J ng Innova (Pero mag pa gas ka sa unioil para euro IV diesel which is good for CRDI).

Also, bare to the bones ang J. It is the little things sometimes that pisses us off.



Ang Ertiga naman ay N/A. So unless masira mo ang alternator, makina, entire fuel system, ECU, etc hindi ka gagastos dapat ng malaki dun. Also, may kasabihan na less moving parts = less parts to break. Simple lang din.

Re: parts ng Ertiga it shares some of its parts with APV and Swift. So, no worries kana agad dun kasi madami nang APV sa kalsada at swift. As a matter of fact, lahat ata ng QC Barangay may isang APV.

Re: thin metal

Ask the members about it. Kasi alam ko hindi siya sobrang nipis to the point na madaling makupi pag nadiinan. Re: banga, lahat naman masisira pag nabanga eh.

Mukhang ertiga GL M/T na nga ang kukunin namin, sabi ni misis e hehe! Yung price difference kasi sa innova J (or E) e pwedeng ayun ang gamitin para sa repairs ng ertiga sa casa na inaalala ko. And hindi naman sure na may major repairs ngang mangyayari. And if ever innova J ang kunin, yung ipapalagay na necessities like power locks and windows, immobilizer, alarm, etc e pwede ko na sanang ma-save na lang yun kung ertiga ang kinuha namin. And yes tama ka nga sir dun sa turbo and other maintenance cost of owning a diesel engine.

Yung parts ng ertiga, hindi ko alam na pati APV parts e may kapareho sa ertiga, akala ko swift lang. So yeah, may peace of mind na kahit papaano na hindi ganun kahirap maghanap ng parts for repairs.

As for the thin metal, nag-aalala lang kasi ako dun dahil sa may street lang namin ipapark yung ertiga if ever e (ginawang carinderia ng byenan ko ang garahe namin hahaha), e kapag may mga sumasandal na tambay baka mayupi. or masyado lang akong nag-aalala kasi hard-earned money to e hehe!

Salamat sir b_9904, nasagot main concerns ko sa parts at repairs. Since Jap car to e tiwala naman akong tatagal to for at least 10 years sa tamang alaga. :D Ipon pa para sa DP tapos fellow ertigan na din ako.. hehehe!

cant compare with innova but imho the paint IS a bit thin.
additional glass coating worth 15-20k would put this ontop of the innova (goodbye na sa carwash ^_^)

re sa thickness may pros and cons kse, thicker = more strength but heavier, imho the cars thickness just suits it right to achieve optimal road performance

Hindi siya sumasayad pre. Hindi nga sya mukhang lowered e, compared sa fully loaded na Avanza at Spin.
I tried it with 6 adults and 3 medium sized kids going to Tagaytay.

Korek.. though ang alam ko mas mataas ang clearance ng kaunti ang Avanza. Spin ang medyo mababa IMHO.
Minsan napapagkasya namin 9-10 pax(including driver) combo ito ng adults at kiddos at hindi naman sumasayad

well depende cguro sa humps (di kse standard sa pinas eh) but on the ave di po sasayad
our GC is areadly at 185mm and even at 12pax (tested mixed adults and kids na naka-kandong) parang 10mm lang ata binana ng ertiga...

hehehe- i feel you ser, kami rin minsan at least 10 including kids.. pero ok pa rin sya, nga lang sa una meedyo hirao hatak pero pag naka-bwelo na ayus na ulit... re sa new face, swerte kung ilabas dito agad sa atin, Pabor sa mga ngayon pa lang kukuha...

Btw, nakausap ko yung manager ng Sucat dealer, sya na talaga hinanap ko para naman maiba yung paulit-ulit na rason ng SA at liason re sa OR/CR at plaka. Nakakuha naman ako ng approx timetable na this March daw per LTO's promise. Nakdalawang lipat pala ng office nag LTO from Cubao-10th Ave ba yon(smaller office) to Araneta Ave. SANA nga! *mangjose, musta na bosing? Medyo matagal ka na hindi naliligaw dito sa forum ah. Alam ko Sucat ka din, me update na ba sa plaka mo?

Sakto sa 2nd PMS ko this Mar.16 pero 2 yung huli ng conduction sticker ko so coding, kaya between 10A-3P ako pupunta doon dahil yun ang window para sa mga coded na sasakyan. Yung last digit ng plaka is 4.

Nov.19 na release yung GA namin, pasok naman sa sinabi ni Tristan na 3-4 months yung processing. Dealer is Sucat.

Siguro nakatulong yung manager ang kinausap ko.. hehe

if your talking about sa tweeter sa dash wala po talaga, abang lang po yung andun. GLX din yung sa amin.
