Although the Philippines wasn’t directly mentioned, a closer look at the backdrop used during the ceremony does mention some of the countries where the eVitara is destined to go. On the upper right side, the Philippines is clearly visible (check out the photos below).

10% difference is within margin of error. Probably marketing ploy to differentiate the e-Vitara from the Urban Cruiser for the uninformed. What I'd like to know is the SRP.

Almost 12% or about 50 kms of better range for an EV is significant.

They're mechanical mechanical twins manufactured in the same Suzuki assembly line in India. Only the styling bits are different. I still believe it's s marketing gimmick to try to differentiate the two for those who are not aware.

Cynical me days Toyota will probably use the increased range to justify the more expensive price tag of the Irban Cruiser.
