but when i read that some ertiga owners had parts issues then...

Doc wala ng problema parts ng ertiga/ciaz, dami sa shopee coming from Indonesia.

Actually hindi naman po masyadong mahirap makahanap ng pyesa. Lagi naman may stocks yung ibang casa at si olympia. Na shock at disappointed lang ako kasi sa ibang car brand pag nasira cv joint pwede daw palitan kahit outer lang (not sure sa mga new models) pero si ciaz buong assembly papalitan. 46k casa price. Si olympia kaka canvass ko lang 30k naman pero masakit padin sa bulsa dahil both sides need palitan

parts are not difficult to source.
but they are expensive, compared to the more popular brands, say,... toyota.

need i say,
parts prices come down, when the market is big.

but if one is satisfied with the car's performance, naman...

I think kung parts to parts comparo sa Suzuki vs popular brands na genuine. Halos di rin naman nagkakalayo sa price. Ang problema lang sa ciaz is kung pano sya binuo like sa cv joints. Kung napapalitan lang sana yung outer nya gaya ng ibang brands mas makakamura sana ko. Pero kung yung vios papalitan yung buong cv joints assembly. Baka baka abutin din ng 30k+


Kung tutuusin mukang ok na din kasi 2nd hand ko lang nabili ciaz ko. 120-150k price difference nya compared sa vios. Yung natipid ko maipang gagastos ko pla sa sobrang mahal na cv joints assembly hahaha.

Have you tried checking online stores from countries where the car is actually manufactured (India/China/Thailand)? That's usually my go-to unless the car is also available in the USA, in which case I shop from Amazon.

No idea if these will fit, but Swift CV joints are P2k a piece lang without need to get whole assembly.

Na try ko na din kaso wala ko makita. Sa lahat kasi ng napagtanungan ko mapa Casa, Olympia at replacement parts talagang buong assembly si ciaz.

Based din sa Suzuki Japan talang buo siya.

between the ciaz and the vios,
inside-wise, i prefer the ciaz.

Same sir at mas tipid din sa gas si ciaz compared kay vios. Pero kung long term ownership. Mas lamang si vios.

Magka iba daw sir sabi ni casa at rael. Na tanong ko casa presyo ng drive shaft assembly ni Ertiga 15k lang. Buti sa ertiga mura lang. Sa Ciaz ginto.

Mukang mauuwi ako nito sa replacement 10k lang each side.

Too bad mas konti kasi ang Ciaz.

Sa Ertiga MT mas matibay ang CV joint wala pa akong nabasa na may nasiraan mas madalas sa AT lalo pag di maingat.

Ewan kung paano ka maka-order sa Indonesia or sa India, marami na kasing seller sa FB.

na open nyo na po ba yung CV joint to verify na may damage nga? makikita naman sa loob kung may tama yan at may bits ng metal..

I also had an experience with them na if hindi available yung parts they can deliver less than 7 days na order from factory.

Madami rin sila stocks on hand
