It will probably be a safe car, with dual airbags and ABS standard. Your wife may find it lacks power at times, especially if she chose the automatic, since it only has a 1L 3 cylinder engine. On the flip side, she'll probably have good fuel consumption, as long as she's not in a hurry to get anywhere.

Suzuki is a respectable brand, and I personally like the Swift and the Vitara. There are reports that some dealers aren't that good with the after sales service, so it may be a good idea to ask around for a dealer with a good reputation.

Note that while Suzuki is a Japanese brand, the Celerio is actually made in India and known there as the Suzuki/Maruti A-Star (it's called A-Star, short for Alto Star, since this is the next gen Alto). In Europe, it's sold as a Nissan Pixo, though underneath the mild restyling it's still all Suzuki.

oo nga enjoy si mrs ko. madali nga raw gamitin kasi mas maliit sa avanza at mas matipid daw. taka lng ako one time ng mag chat kami hard starting daw di gaya ng sa avanza one click lng start agad without initially stepping on the gas.

Dapat Rose pink ang color kaya lng naging white. Medyo di maganda un service ng Macapagal Branch, nag pareserve kami ng 20k ata for the rose pink nga. So ok nlahat then sabi ko papataasin ko lng un dollar bago nmin ilalabas un unit. ng kukunin namin naubos naraw un pink at white nlng ang available. WHAT IS THE USE OF RESERVATION? well ok din kasi maganda pala un white at madaling bihisan sa tingin ko.

Maruti Suzuki ships out 100000th A-star in less than a year

New Delhi, December 02, 2009
Riding on the success of its "Green car" label in European markets, the A-star, Maruti Suzuki's flagship world strategic model for global markets, crossed export mark of 1 lakh units, with the shipment from Mundra Port, today..

The company has achieved 1 lakh units cumulative export of A-star in less than a year since its first shipment to Europe in January this year.

Suzuki's fifth world strategic model, A-star was launched in India in November 2008. Manufactured at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant, India is the sole base for production of this flagship export model of Suzuki, Japan. The car is being exported to 69 countries.

Europe has emerged as the major export destination for A-star, where the car is sold as Suzuki Alto. Maruti Suzuki has exported 93,562 units of A-star to Europe alone. Currently, A-star sells in 19 countries in Europe. UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France are some of the major markets. With the next generation K-series engine, the A-star has been rated as number one environmental friendly petrol car in Germany. The European version of A-star sports a Euro V compliant engine that emits CO2 as low as 103 gms per kilometer.

Other major markets for A-star, where it is sold as Suzuki Celerio include Chile, Angola, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria and UAE. Like European countries, the car is sold as Suzuki Alto in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand markets.

In the first phase of A-star export plan, Maruti Suzuki has already covered many key markets in Western Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. In the second phase, Maruti Suzuki will target East European markets.

The A-star has led Maruti Suzuki's export growth this fiscal so far. During April-November this fiscal, the company has exported 91,731 units whereas, during full fiscal last year, Maruti Suzuki's export was 70,023 units.

Still kawa parin un nakabili ng brand new unit na parang di brand new. Kung sakali papalitan kaya nila un defective na unit para di nmn sila masira sa mga future customer. Kung ganun kalakas un benta nila edi drop in a bucket lang un para palitan nila.

The stock tire and wheels of a Suzuki Celerio is 155/65R 14.
Can anybody suggest what replacement tire do you suggest for a
15" mag without changing as much the diameter difference.
Where can I find such tire?

Break-in is usually normal driving with a max speed of 100kph and avoid driving at the same speed for long distance for the first 1000km.

Well, the Celerio can drive to Bicol with four people (including driver) and some bags. Just avoid overloading it. If you see the rear suspension sagging, it's a sign that it's overloaded.

Help naman po, we are planning on bringing a celerio a/t to tagaytay next week, yung question ko po is ano po yung safe na psi ng gulong kung 5 passengers including the driver with luggages? and hindi po ba masyadong mas-stressed out or kaya po ba ng celerio considering na 1,300km pa lang natatakbo na umakyat sa zigzags? thanks po.

It can do it. Granted, you may need to use extra revs to get up the steeper portions if there's traffic, but it can do it easily.

Best to go up really early to avoid the weekend rush (usually just before lunch).

A safe inflation pressure for a full load would be around 35 psi or the full load recommendation on the door sticker, whichever is higher.

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
