Jovanne.... You can check more pics/info on APV on these sites

The umcsuzuki site is in Malay, while some has English translations, some aren't. The specs between the Malaysian and Phil models vary, most notable the engine and wheels. Hope thats useful![]()
I just realized that these are old threads, never mind anyway heheh
Correction:
www.umcsuzuki.com is located in Surabaya, Indonesia.
And the language is Indonesia language (foreigners call it Bahasa), NOT Melayu or Malayu.
Yes, we only have 1.5 EPI SOHC engine version (G15A). There's no 1.6 option (G16A) - which also been used in Escudo or Vitara 1.6.
Top model (X-type or GX) uses 15-inch aluminium alloy wheels, not 14-inch ones.

please post in English, heheh...![]()
Pahabol. I'm using the '94 Vitara, bought in 1995 as a first owner. Enginewise, okay siya, hindi niya kami tinirik. Just give her oil, spark plug, belts, and filter, and she'll keep you away from unwanted visits to the kasa.
I sold her to get the APV, I miss her already![]()
yeah, i just saw them today. great work guys for the review. how about suzuki reliability and the over-all long term maintenance cost? will a suzuki be at par with a toyota in these aspects?
sobrang aga to tell about the resale value..generally suzukis hold their resale value well..generally matibay ito..parts may konting kamahalan since hindi ito popular masyado compared with toyotas, mitsus..etc.
fyi, the APV is on display until this Sunday at the ground floor, Edsa Shangri-La Plaza.

APV is cool Ill trade my 03 CRV nytime for this
Thats is kung tapos na hulugan sa banko hehehehehe
btw, any info on the APV's origins? i.e. is it based on a previous suzuki model, or brand new sya from the ground up?
Ganda ng apv sa personal, sa tibay ok naman ang suzuki medyo under rated nga siya compared sa ibang jap. brands. Gusto ko din ito for my extra car choosing between this and yung suzuki swift.
Country of origin: Indonesia (assembling)
Design origin: Japan
Parts origin: Indonesia & Japan.
All APV in the world are imported Completely Built-Up from Suzuki-Indomobil Plant - Indonesia.
It is a brand new design, but parts are mostly taken from station-wagon version of Suzuki Cultus Wagon JDM, and also Every+ JDM.

(use Internet Explorer to click links, Mozilla won't work)
Engine in Phils 1.6 version: G16A as used in Vitara, so engine spare parts are logically widespread & relatively cheap.
Engine in Indonesia 1.5 version: G15A, used in Cultus Wagon JDM (and Baleno 1.5).

it's getting too tempting to let go of my honda mini for this semi-biggie :-)
i will let you know in November if naka-APV na ako ... please keep the post going (those who ACTUALLY test-drove it and those who ACTUALLY own it). medyo irritating yung opinions na based on 2nd hand, even 3rd hand info ...
congratulations to all new APV owners!
Para sa kin mas nakakatakot pa nga yung ibang cars na minass produce from other countries, di ba pinagmamalaki ng suzuki cbu from japan mga unit nila it means mas ok ang quality control nito kumpara sa ibang car na inassemble sa ibang asian countries just to lower their price. Suzuki is one of the most underrated na car manufacturer dito sa atin, pagsabayin mo fortuner at jimny sa offroad baka hindi pa makasabay fortuner dito. Am not biased nakafortuner ako, am eyeing on the swift lately ganda nya.

Hi!Just want to ask all APV owners, have you already returned your units for the breakin period or waiting for the 5k check?
Thanks
I currently have 4,900 kms on my odo. Am planning to bring my APV to PILHINO for its scheduled 5K PMS anyday now.Originally Posted by Regz0810
