Jimny Snorkel Install pics inside

Contacted the distributor yeaterday and he told me that there was one more snorkel kit for the jimny so i decided to have my jimny installed with a snorkel today and this is how it turned out.

the mechanic taped off the surrounding areas and proceeded with cutting of the holes. sobra nakakatakot and nakakaawa tingnan hehe.

immediate noticeable difference was the improvement in acceleration and a low tone induction note. Sana magimprove din FC ko pero sarap apakan yun gas pedal e hehe. Install took around 2 hours. Long term ok naman sana primary concern would be rust formation sa mga butas

Definitely UV is a problem. You can see this in the exterior plastic panels of the cheaper Chinese cars. After spending a year or so in the sun, they get discolored.

If you feel like it's a problem, you could always paint your snorkel with some high-temp barbecue grill spray paint.

Ride banawe. papalift ko na sana pero enjoy ko muna snorkel. haha. di pa din pala dumadating yun lift kit nila. I believe its TJM also

The snorkel is pointed down. While spray can still enter, small raindrops will not hurt your engine.

Ika-nga: You won't drown if you look up unto the rain, but you can drown if you hold your nose underwater.
